Well, it's Father's Day and most of the dads are probably sleeping in, starting up the grill or just laying on their recliners. As for my husband, he just came home from a 12 hour shift, ate his oatmeal and he has headed to sleep to wake up and do it all over again. He will officially be off this Tuesday. Father's Day is Tuesday for him. This week will be extra busy for me. Starting tomorrow, the school will be doing half days. Another day of one appointment for my daughter's braces. Tuesday I will be volunteering at that church with my kids. Their former kindergarten teacher plays an active role in the church. She is such a sweetie. She sends all her kids congratulatory cards for their graduation. My two kids got one for one graduating from high school and the other from middle school. I love this woman! Such a great role model. Wednesday and Thursday are the graduation days in this family. So, busy, busy.

Oh my, I just realized that I haven't blogged since Monday. Well, since then I was inactive until yesterday. I walked yesterday for 40 minutes but I am so discouraged that I can't seem to get off this 200 range. My plan is to be under 200 by August, I've got my first fitting then. These 6lbs just wants to stay on me. I will be walking again today. I think once the kids schedules have decreased by Friday of next week, I will be going for my four days a week. I should be there already. Two days a week is not enough. I need my sparkfriends more than ever.

About 9 months ago, major construction to our bridge over the parkway started here in our town. Then two months ago, our school budget failed. Originally in our main street, we only had four lanes, two going north, two going south. Now because our school budget failed, there will be no buses for my kids and now they have almost doubled the lanes, it is seven. My kids will be forced to walk across these seven lanes. Today, I have decided I will walk these seven lanes. I want to experience what my children have to do next fall. If anything, I will probably drive them to school.

I was just looking at everyone's posts and there happened to be an ad for ybridal.com. I found a dress that is under $100 and I can choose what color I want. I am not having a big reception because it's a renewal and only a few people will be witnessing it. I was thinking after an hour of the ceremony, we will invite everyone to a restaurant in our hotel and just have an intimate dinner. This is the dress I have in mind and having it in burgundy.
