Today was the second day since I've changed my lifting program. I had a really great work-out today! It's amazing how bored you become with a program after a while and changing it up is just what is needed. I followed my original program for 6 weeks, as recommended per a book I read by Joan Greggains. I think 6 weeks is too long, I'll stick with this one for 4 weeks and see how it goes. My muscles are telling me that I have hit different places that hadn't been getting worked. I had so much energy today when I was done. It really feels great! Plus, yesterday I walked/jogged 5 miles, which I set as one of my goals (walk for 1 hour or more on one day a week). Today, I did 45 minutes on the tredmill. I think that may have contributed to a better workout because I've been doing 50-60 minutes before lifting and haven't had much stamina.
So, here's to me for doing such a great job this morning!
