Always on the bandwagon

So I'm back on the weight loss train! I'm trying to lose all of my weight this summer while working in Minor League Baseball--not to mention I work in the catering dept! FOOD IS EVERYWHERE! However, today I got up fairly early and I have already eaten breakfast as well as taken my vitamins! I'm cleaning the house and getting back into the groove of weight loss and taking care of my body!

This is the FINAL beginning--I need YOU to MOTIVATE me!

Hi all! I am back for the final and beginning of my weightloss journey. With the tornado, school ending, and starting a new job I need to get back on the weight loss journey! But, I can't do it alone. Therefore, I am looking for other sparkers to help MOTIVATE me through this journey! I know it will not be easy--breaking new/old habits--espcially working in the catering of the baseball industry it's really hard to be tempted not to eat all the time! But, with only 10 games left that is no longer an excuse--actually, it never was. HAHA. Nevertheless I am ready to beging again and get fit!

    Find that dress that you would love to get into (all women have one) and put it where you can see it everyday. If not a dress, find something you've been denying yourself and make it your reward when you reach your goal.

Put a picture of yourself in the dress when you get there so we can all celebrate with you !!!

So this week I have definitely been trying to concentrate on incorporating more strength training into my work out so that I can get more muscle :) I joined the 28-day challenge for Jan..so hopefully I will see results.

I really am enjoying my workouts on the elliptical :) a couple of days ago I did 520 cal in 30 min :) pretty proud of myself. Not to mention I also did my laps around the track now...I also really enjoy doing that after the elliptical to loosen more muscles more.

This year is starting off great!

So for the past few weeks I have been doing a 30-45 min cardio with running, incline walking, and spinning--but, never have I used the elliptical. In fact, I have always vowed never to use one...it just looked too dangerous for me. haha. But the other day I decided I would use one--and it felt great! I burned almost 1/2 the amount more on the elliptical than on the treadmill and I started seeing changes...withing the way I felt and everything! I have recently taken a 4 day break but I'm back sparking away now! My body still is at the same weight--in fact I actually lost a couple of pounds during my rest period...thank goodness! :)

  the eliptical is my best friend. this yr I shed 100lbs, and still counting, but mostly due to nothing but 30min on the elpitcal for about 4 or 5 days a week. BUT what i have learned late but nevertheless strength training is important. Thank God for the eliptical!!!! : D

YES that is correct! I can see some type of definition in my abs! And it's GREAT! Today I was so tired and I forgot to work out this morning, but I'm going to try to go tonight or I can afford to take one day off, because I have been working out like crazy for the last week. I have been trying to maintain a healthy diet as well, so hopefully I can keep dropping the pounds. I would love to be at least 10 pounds lighter by May, so we'll see! Keep you posted!
