Wrapping up Saturday here. I got up this morning and munched on a banana and downed 8 oz of water and hit the road for week 1 day 3 of the C25K. It is NOT the same podcast as I used before and instead of run a minute, recover 90 seconds, this one had me running 3 minutes.
I figured out it was different w/ day 2, but I was able to do it, so no big deal. Well today... w/ 3 minute runs and I am on hills, I said no. I stopped 30 seconds shy of the last run, which I did not think was that bad at all. But I was tired and going uphill and I know I should not be doing hills, but very limited to where I can go so figured it was safer to walk the last 30 seconds.
Then drove the chiro to be beat on. Then checked on the horse, horse is happy.
Then ..... I put on my new bikini.. and felt really self conscience (and shouldn't have, but did). Put the life preserver on my old man (almost 12 yr old rottweiler) and we hit the pond. I pulled weeds for 3 FLIPPIN HOURS and only got 1/3 of the pond done. Dog swam for at least 2 hours before he called uncle and wandered inside.
Dinner was Alaskan King Crab legs...yum. I am now really tired and ready for bed!
