Well my fellow sparklers.. I certainly got my strength training in on Saturday!
It was a food delivery day and normally we pull 1 skid out of storage in 2 parts, roughly totaling 1800 #s. This Saturday we pulled out 2 skids + I was whipped out at the end of Saturday night. Thank goodness for crock pots!
Sunday I was a bum... really ached getting out of bed. Did some cleaning of dog rooms and then sat my butt on the breezeway floor and cleaned 2 end tables, 2 leather love seats and an antique sewing machine that stands in a cabinet. Oh and lots of laundry. That was the extent of my Sunday!
My BF is wonderful! I know you are all sick of hearing this I am sure. But my ex was a real jerk so this is such a wonderful change! We um, accidentally left 2#s of raw meat in a freezer, oh back on March 20th and this freezer has been unplugged since then and we decided to use it this past Saturday. My BF found the problem and CLEANED the freezer for me! I am still shocked he didn't leave it for me to clean when I got back from delivering food!
We are also OFF EXTENSION CORDS for the addition! Silly, it is going to take a while to get used to flipping switches for lights now!
Okay.. that was my recap. Just manual labor, no dancing, no running, no Curves. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It was pretty funny actually. I pulled out left overs from dinner last night and my scale.
Picked the fish out of the tray, put the tray on the scale and zero'd it out and added the fish.
BF 'WHAT are you doing?'
me 'Weighing my lunch!' Uh duh.. what does it LOOK like I'm doing?
BF 'What was it, a whole 4 oz? Are you doing that to count calories?'
me '3 actually and absolutely.'

Well... not super exciting, but I got you to look right? Since you're here, you might as well read, comment and get a SPARK POINT.
Which by the way, I won 100 Spark Goodie points on the wheel this AM.
No, the bread crumbs on the beans did not bother me thank goodness!
I had a work out at Curves! I really cranked it out more on the running boards, basically heels were hitting my saggy butt but instead of my heart rate at 104, it was 118! still not where it should be according to age and weight.. but much closer! And the ab machine was actually GREEN most of the time. Usually it's more yellow-- as in you are not working to par yellow. we hate yellow.
The proof was in the results when done. Instead of burning 197 calories as the norm, it said I burned 237! And for the time, I got 100% on my ABS! Great work out at Curves.
I was LIGHT on calories till dinner and what I punched in was INSANE... I really don't think 1 serving of my beef stew is really 473 calories but oh well. So I was really at the top of my calorie intake. Okay I lied. I was OVER. For me to go over 1670 is so rare, so I'll just consider this a calorie cycling day.

I am SO disappointed that Siobhan was voted off so soon. She is amazing. My BF and I believe Crystal will win it but we thought the last three would be Crystal, Siobhan and Lee. Oh well.. we can't complain too much as we don't vote. I certainly hope we will hear Siobhan in the future. Like Daughtry. I did not see that year but I find it interesting how well he has done and I guess whoever won has done nothing? I didn't start watching till Season 6.
Tonight we are having dinner w/ friends. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Howdy fellow Sparkler Friends!!
Ramblings of a Wednesday...
Let's see I drank WAY to much last night, but it was so good. I boycotted my .
I also wrestled w/ my 113 pound boy (Zeus, picture on my page) to walk up a doggie ramp to get a bath. I told him that we were in a HURRY. After all, Idol was on in 45 minutes! I was very careful to not hurt my shoulder, I growled back at him and told him he was NOT allowed to growl at his mother! Then he gets in the tub and has this silly grin, oh look a bathtub! Jerk! I did get him bathed and back home 10 minutes to spare. need to find that chart on how many calories bathing the dog is worth!
I just had bread crumbs. I thought it was cheese. oops. It was sprinkled on green beans and I probably consumed about the size of a sugar cube. Should be okay. Half of a will do me in, hoping a sugar cube size won't! DUMB of me too. They had pesto potatoes too that looked good, but the guy confirmed there was flour in there. Too bad he didn't see me reach for the beans and say something!
Had great chicken! It had a mandarin orange, cilantro and red onion salsa on it. YUM.. I am going to make that at home one night. Just finished putting it in the nutrition tracker and lunch came in at 191 calories. eh gads... I'll need something to munch on later for sure!
Hoping the weather warms up soon so I can go power walking. 54 now, supposed to get to 60. Have 1.6 miles planned if it does. Going to Curves tonight too.
Anyone do Curves with the Smart Plan? Here I thought I was doing okay w/ my heart rate and I am not. I'm at 105 ish (yes I was being dense) and I am supposed to be 120-150. I am already RUNNING on the recovery boards, what else am I supposed to do? Maybe I'll try some jumping jacks! Will be interesting to see what I get to tonight.
