Mmmmm, this looks yummy - I printed off the recipe and may try to pull it off without hubby knowing what's in it. Let me know how yours turns out. I also discovered the "mashed cauliflower" instead of potatoes - with the exception of the impending gas, I thought they were great!

SP has a recipe for caulitaters (tators? - can't remember) and it is pretty tasty. This pizza recipe looks phenomenal. (And I see you found the "Down 4 Pants Sizes" icon).

I will! Have you had faux potatoes? Instead of mashed potatoes it is just blended caliuflower. Interesting as I really do not like the taste of cooked caliuflower but loved the potatoes.. .mmm must have been the butter!

Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie

Tuesday, November 10, 2009

My nephew has a nut, peanut, dairy and coconut allergy.. OMG the poor kid!!! I just can't handle gluten, that is nothing compare to my nephew!

So.. I have to make emoticon for emoticon day and I figured I'll make one that we can both eat and Karina's to the rescue!

OOOH... and we are having one of my best friends from high school and her husband over for dinner this weekend!!! Planning on a great recipe of slow cooked beef ribs. Need to do a side dish, probably a salad of some sort, and a dessert. Thinking of mocha gelato recipe I got from SP.

Have to think of things to do this night so we don't just sit and catch up, it's been over 25 yrs, do not want to drive our SO's crazy! Any suggestions welcome!

I'd go for cards. You can probably get more visiting in that way. Do you play euchre or pinochle? Or maybe hearts?

Your dinner sounds like a good one and that pie!! Your nephew will love you for it.

Enjoy catching up with your friend.

Cindy

PS (I got rid of that 2 extra lbs. that snuck up on me when I was having trouble fitting my workouts into my crazy schedule.)

    That pie looks yummy emoticon

Wow..... 25 years.... catching up could take longer than one night, but I agree that card games or board games would work best as you can drive the men crazy by not only winning the game..... but with all the gossip emoticon

Have fun.

Thanks for the recipe and tips! I don't have a clue on activities to do with someone you haven't seen in 25 years. Cards, board games, or maybe a game of cherades based on what you want to tell each other about your lives?

Poor kid to have all those allergies. Enjoy your entertaining. Not sure of what to suggest to do. You'll want to do something that you can do while you catch up - like some type of card game of something.

Maintaining for a month now.. woo hoo

Monday, November 09, 2009

Hey everyone. I have been maintaining my current weight for a month now! Super pumped!!!

I have been getting my power walks in still if the temps are not too much below 55. This week looks like I should be able to get them all in w/o a problem.

I am still maintaining my calorie consumption from when I was working on loosing. I did not increase like so many people I hear are saying you should do. I find it hard to consume the minimum some times, so why would I add more?

Going square dancing tonight... woo hoo

Saw the play HairSpray last Saturday night, it was GREAT!

Cold is gone! weird - water absorption.

Friday, November 06, 2009

That was so strange yesterday. Came on real sudden, major sinus pressure, blowing my nose constantly. Driving home was a chore as all I wanted to do was sleep!

1/2 way thru dinner the pressure released and this morning I really don't feel much of anything.

very strange.. but very glad the pressure's gone!!! Cold is still lingering though.. I am freezing.. so I have some hot tea emoticon.

Very weird is how much water your skin absorbs in the shower! I jumped on the emoticon before I got in the shower, usually always do this after shower and drying my hair. I'm thinking I'm a little bloated, probably a little higher than yesterday and low an behold it's really low. ??? Jumped on again after the shower and it went up to my current of 107.5 1.5 pounds more from before the shower? Who would have thought your skin would absorb 1.5 pounds of moisture?

Did my Curves work out today, have to mow the lawn and pick up leaves, (I have to warm up!) do some grocery shopping.. going to make Southwest Chicken Stew from SP recipes for dinner.. yum.

Hope all my emoticon emoticon have a great day!

Glad the sinus pressure is gone..... each year I buy stock in kleenex as I use so much of it blowing my nose... LOL.

I try not to go anywhere near a scale, but know that my hair would suck up about ten pounds of water and takes two days to dry....... emoticon

Take care of the lingering cold and have a great weekend.

LOL - now I'm going to have to try a shower experiment, hehe! I usually weigh right after I get up and go to the bathroom. If I weigh again an hour or two later, I'll be 1 - 3 lb.s heavier usually. Hmmm, maybe it's all make-up! tehe! Glad you threw that cold to the curb! Have a great weekend!

*laughs* thats why I never weigh myself after a shower..the water alone in my hair probably weighs that much LOL Glad you are feeling much beter!!!
