Funeral

Hi, my cousin died a couple of weeks ago, and I've been to Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire for the funeral. I hadn't seen him for many years, and never even met his second wife. She and her daughters were very welcoming and friendly, but the best thing was meeting his son who is about 50, and I hadn't seen him since he was about 6. We got on so well, I felt as if I'd always known him. Funerals stir up all sorts of feelings, and sometimes it's good to have a bit of a shake up. Robin Hood's Bay is a most beautiful place. Hi to everyone! I see from my blogs that I last posted at the end of May last year. I'm amazed to see that my weight's only gone up 8 pounds. I thought it was much more. I need to get those 8 pounds off plus some more.
For anyone who was following my blogs last year, my ex-husband eventually died at the end of June. He died peacefully at home with the family and had a fantastically up-beat funeral.
I've had five weeks out on the new boat this year, had some wonderful times, going from Oxford to Bristol. Now I'm trying to get the garden tidy after leaving it for so long.

Well, Eric, my ex who was diagnosed with leukaemia 3 weeks ago, went for his weekly transfusions this week, and was told that he has no leukaemia cells in his body! This is after 120 3 weeks ago, then 70, then 20. He has loads of people praying for him, so who says the age of miracles is past? He hasn't eaten much for weeks, but when I saw him the other night he had just finished sausage and mash! We realise, of course, that a remission may last an indefinite period of time.
The bad news is that after 3 days on the new boat, I put those precious 2 pounds back on! Still, I'm not downhearted. Easy on, easy off, I say.
The boat is good, if extremely small. It needs a few things done but nothing major. We lit the stove on a chilly evening and it was really cosy.

My DH had alzehiemers got lost in his living room ! Couldn't drive for months but he was anointed and prayed for in alot of little country churches. GOD ANSWERED PRAYER ! He hasn't took any medicine for it for about 2 years. EVERYONE SAYS IT WILL COME BACK and he has some issues but WE ARE THANKING GOD FOR NOW AND LETTING TOMARROW HAPPEN THEN ! I have a team going called GOD ANSWERS PRAYER if your interested we would love to have you join ! We pray for each other daily that God will help us live closer to him and his will and help us make the right discissions on our food choices to lose our weight. When Eric, my ex, went for his transfusions on Thursday, his leukaemia cells were down to 20. Two weeks ago they were 120, and last week 70. The consultant was a bit perplexed, but as hundreds of people are praying for him, it comes as no real surprise.
I could tell he was feeling better because he was really grumpy!
Thank you to all those who are thinking of him.
We may be going out on our new boat this weekend. A good idea as there's a very noisy festival down the road from where we live!

Hi. A pound down this week, so that's encouraging.
My ex, Eric, who has leukaemia, has been in hospital with a chest infection. He came home on Monday feeling extremely weak. He picked up a stomach bug in hospital! I took him for platelets and blood on Thurs which took all day as the second lot of blood gave him a temperature. I saw him yesterday and he looked much better but he's very thin.
A lot of people are praying for him and his faith is strong. He knows he only has a few weeks to live.
All you Christians out there, please pray too.
