What will we do in the wee hours of the night without our Spark?

Oh my, I guess I will have to workout without Sparking in the morning.

But don't panic too much, Spark will be back online tomorrow morning.

Up At 3am...

Good Hump Day Sparkfam! Don't feel like much humpin after being up since 3am...I am actually ready to go lie back down but I have to get it started. Well I did get my Sparkin done so that's something right? I have been busy getting my workouts in & my computer at work isn't allowing me to do anything except for entering my nutrition for the day. That's most important because I need to see it before I can scruff it down my throat! lol Yesterday I had a burger but you know what? I planned it in there but with my walking on the treadmill for an hour I was watchful of what I ate. I didn't want to have to do another hour tonight. UGH!! Not that its not fun but why is it that skinny people can eat til the cows come home and not gain weight?

Remember I am operating on 4.5hours of sleep so I am throwing out some random thoughts. So I have to get off so that my hubby can do his word study. My workout today will be weights & kickboxing for an hour and a half.

So what are you doing for your health today?

Remember we are what we eat...I wonder on the days my DH makes Goat stew...what does that make me. emoticon

Here's hoping you get more sleep. Our bodies can sometimes crave food when what we really are craving is sleep.

Hey Beautiful! Congratulations on getting your Sparking done early and your workouts. I know I hate to wake up too early and can't go back to sleep. I've gotten up and sparked too. Quiet but end up even sleepier. lol Thanks for stopping by my page. Today I did my Cardio Dance for 65 mins and I just love it. It was something different because I did it this morning as opposed to later in the evening. Very invigorating. Burns a lot of calories. You putting that Treadmill to great use Praise the Lord!

    Started with a good breakfast, earlier than I normally eat. Eating before noon is my big problem. I don't know why, but it is. Try to nap when baby naps, willya? Sleep is OH SO IMPORTANT, unless you wanna turn into Mama Bear. (Grrrr!)

    I was up at 4:30, took 20 minutes to really get going and then I hopped on the treadmill, turned on the Law & Order, and pumped some Chicago old school house music on the iPod.

All the while the family slept peacefully....

    I love that you had the burger you wanted but have planned to just up the exercise to account for it. That is reality. Great job on staying focused. I am developing that skill right now. This was great isnspiration. Have a great day...and get some sleep!

    Oh my ...you and me both...I was up at 2am.... my son has asthma, and then up again at 4:30....cannot get back to sleep...So, guess I'm up for the day! Lol! emoticon

    I have been up every night between 1:00 am and 3:00 am , stomach virus and it's so not fun! I am trying to get back to where I was and feeel better.     I get up at 4:45 every day... but I workout in the evening. I may try to do an AM workout one day. I am not a morning person when it comes to exercise, @ least during the week.

Good for you on the planned meal, that's what I do on Saturday's... this is my free day, so I have something to look forward to. Keep up the good work! emoticon

Oh, today is strength training, maybe with Cathe, but we'll see how I feel! emoticon

    It's great that you are working out. I don't know what I would do without my treadmill!!! Next time, as you are on it, kick it up every 10 mins or so just .1. You will be amazed at the work out you get!!! Good luck!

    I wake up at 3 am everyday except weekends (unless i have to work at the hospital), so, 5 hours is the norm for me. it's also when i get my workouts in. Got my walk and strength training in for the day. Everything else I do (in terms of working out) is extra (but usually unlikely--I consider my self as being really good if I can walk for 30 minutes after dinner instead of zoning out in front of the tv)

Treadmill.....

Good Sunday Sparkfam! I was just enjoying the sunny but brisk day until it all changed into rain & wind. Enjoyed a wonderful day at Sunday service at church. The sermon started slow but the finish was well worth it. Just finished dinner & now I'm on to my daily workout of step aerobics & walking on the treadmill. My hubby has become a fan of criaglist & bought a proform treadmill. I have walked on a few but then I have never owned one. I need to not be intimidated by that piece of machinery. Its HUGE! Its gadget & gizmo & what nots & taking up a big portion of my home so there is no need for me not to workout.

    Hello Dee! Great You Have a Treadmill! You Can open Your own Gym Now! emoticon I used to Have one to use when I stayed with my sister for a little while and it was a great workout tool. I lost a lot of the weight using it. It was big too and took up too much space. What a Blessing! You can run on that baby. lol Glad You Had a Great Day! It's cold now here so I'm glad. Had to flip on that heat too. emoticon

Sweatin to the Oldies...

Good Friday Sparkfam! Its been a good week as far as my workouts have gone, now won't brag on my meals. lol Its Friday & I've actually been invited to 3 different Halloween Parties. I am not big on dressing up or going to parties? I just hate to be invited & then not show up but then there's buying costumes or trying to dress up. My son would probably enjoy going out as he is a teenager but we might stay closer to home this weekend.

Now back to my workouts, I say sweatin to the oldies cause my workouts are from when Discovery Fit & Health used to be FitTv. I am glad I DVR alot of my favorite workouts. So I can mix it up if I'm bored. Anyway, I got in 90mins of cardio & 30mins of strength. I'm really ready to just hit the hay after working that hard but I need to work off the cake we had at lunch for a colleague that is leaving the company. I had 2 slices of pizza as well but I needed after all that work I did but stopped cause I didn't want to wreak havoc on the work I put in.


So I say good night & sweet dreams to you all!
