Good Thursday Sparkfam! I am having a wonderful day here in Chicago & I am feeling really amped up! I didn't much sleep breaking my own beauty rule about getting enough of: water, fruits, vegetables and all important sleep. Not rest but really deep sleep. I had my grandson last night cause my daughter is finish up her degree at DePaul U. Well she has a late class so this our time to spend together. He stays up as long as the tv stays on. So I forgot this & thought put on something boring, no luck. He finally ran out of gas around 1am. So I got maybe 4.5 hours of sleep. I was sluggish waking up but I got up & whispered a few prayers & watched Joyce Meyer & then did my 45min workout with the Firm. I thought it was easier but its fast paced & they change up every 3-5mins. Well I did & I am so glad because I am so worth those perfect size 8 jeans. I think a size 6 would mean loss of lower back fat or junk in the trunk. lol
I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend
while I'm here, than a whole truck load when I'm gone .

With so much going on in the southern part of the country, I am giving my Sparkfam flowers. Pray without ceasing cause so much is going on everywhere & we need to stay prayed up. I have been getting flowers & plants since the first week of April & now I am surrounded by a dozen longed red roses. I also got a floral bouquet for myself & I did share with my co-worker. So I think it is only fitting to share also with my other loved ones. . . . . You are always in my thoughts because you are always here for me when I need to be picked up.

Happy Easter Sparkfam! So I woke up early like 3:12am & couldn't get back to sleep, I tried to go back but I got nothing. Once up & ironed the boys shirts & suits then tried to visualize my own outfit. I just couldn't get moving. Once I finally did, I ran & got to church. Service was lovely. The worship praise & the sermon were all on point for the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ. I have to be honest but at the end of service they had speeches for the little children but I was so sleepy that I couldn't stay. So I left I had my nephew & his daughter & my daughter & her husband & my grandson.
Once home I immediately turned on the stove & got the chicken out of the frig. After starting the chicken, I started the greens & boiling my sweet potato for pie. Then I cooked corn bread for my turkey stuffing. Then after getting all that started my nephew states he is so hungry, he ate a hostess twinkie & then he ate a large bowl of alphabits. He wanted to know when they started making them again. Yeah, they had stopped making fyi but then they started again. So anyway, I got almost everything ready & the put the ham on of course after turning the stove down. I told my nephew that I had to get dinner ready but he wasn't listening to me. I didn't do anything except shop for church clothes yesterday. I was fit to be tied. Dinner was really good. Have you ever heard the saying, "she put her foot in it." Well I almost put most of it on the floor. My birthday gift kept grabbing the pans. I had to take it off or else risk dinner. Everybody thought the food was delicious & after taste testing it all, so did I. I like to have a nice dinner on Easter we really enjoyed ourselves & my last guests just left & its 10pm! You know I like to be in bed on Sunday night around 9:15pm. I gave my being antisocial & just let go of my inhibitions. I did pretty good.
So reflection, He arose on the third day, got up with ALL power in His hands. He set the captives free. Are you saved? If not, then accept Him as your Lord & Savior & get in a good bible base church.

Good Tuesday Sparkfam! Its a rainy & cold day here in Chicago. Total contrast from the 10th almost 90degrees. They say what a difference a day makes so I guess it should be triple true for a week. lol Today, I didn't want to let go of my covers, I just laid around & then the hubby comes upstairs, I need to be at work in 45mins & I just made breakfast. I jump up spring into action & put his breakfast in a microwave safe dish. I put into the microwave & pressed 1minute. Then I since I'm up I might as well wash dishes & make pancakes for the boys. Well, I made me a mini pancake & it was so good with a small with a small piece of sausage. Oh I should note that I had a cup of raisin bran with skim milk. Well it was different lets just say that. Saturday, I actually tried Silk, now question, is that soy milk or what? So needless to say I got back into the bed & pull the covers up to my chin. I already started my day so why not get up & workout? Well Law & Order SUV was running a marathon on USA. I pressed pause on everything else around me & finally dragged by bottom out of the bed & did 40mins of Cathe Legs & Glutes to kick my behind in high gear. I really needed that workout & my legs are tightening up, yes l have cellulite but I thank God I have legs that are still in use! Amen! Tonight its 30mins of Jillian ripped in 30. I am taking walk breaks all day long & trying to complete the QFC for today.

TGIFriday Sparkfam!! Because you guys are the best, I have a little guilt free treat for you:
Two Little Red Hens : Which is located in New York is a wonderful Upper East Side bakery. The cupcakes looked very delicious and got some amazing reviews. So I thought I would send them to my Sparkfamily for their support of me always. I think every now and again we deserve to eat the cake & buy those shoes! Which shoes?
Today, I ate raisin bran for breakfast w/1%milk with dannon blueberry yogurt. For lunch 2slices of ham on hawaiian bread w/a half slice of provolone cheese w/banana. For snack I had half bag of chips that were lingering in my desk drawer. For dinner baked chicken with broccoli & coffee as a snack a nature valley chewy trail mix fruit & nut bar. Outside of the nuts (almonds & peanuts) I really like the cranberries & raisins, so I tolerate the nuts. I know their supposed to be good for you but I like my nuts separately. Yes I am a crazy person! lol
This morning, I did Jillian 30 which was intense, walked 45mins, did the yoga I missed out on last night. Tonight Cathe's kick punch & crunch, as much as I can take before I literally pass out. lol
So what are you guys doing for the weekend? I'm renewing my CDL license, picking up a few groceries & trying to take the dog to the vet. Can hardly believe its Easter & remembering the true meaning for the season.
