Good Day Sparkfam! Its still cold here in Chicago but it warmed up by 7-8degrees which may not be much to you guys not living here but its HUGE! I mean its the difference between hats or no hats. . .lol I was in a mood on Tuesday but to let all my concerned friends know that I have rebounded with 2new pair of gloves at Target which were on sale for $14.99each! I have black & brown & yes if I saw the guy yesterday but he left so abruptly I couldn't catch him to give him the other glove. . .Oh well.

So I was just doing my job and one of the catering companies brought me 2 bottles of wine & I gave them to my co-workers they were very happy. Today, my other catering company brought me a box of treats which I had to have a piece of snickerdoodle which is like a sugar cookie with nuts in them (I spit out the nuts) and they are chewy. Anyway, I am sharing with my co-workers but hiding them for now because everyone would not be able to have a treat.

Today I have been surrounded by food. I ate toast & scrambled eggs with a cup of coffee. We had pizza & salad on one table & italian beef, roasted chicken, baked mostacholli w/meat sauce on another. I mean, it wasn't too tough, I had pizza chewed & just spit it out. I ate a bite of chicken but not worth the calories. I ate a huge salad & now before I go home I will be sipping on my soup. I have also been walking my butt off & tonight I want to try to do Supersets & maybe tae bo. Push ups are also on the menu so we will see. Since I have this new hairdo, I don't want to mess it up with sweat. I look cute but I know that working out can make me look & feel better. There is no logic there. lol

Are you guys ready for Christmas? Got a few more gifts to get but new people keep springing up. I am trying to spend less but buy thoughtful. . . How bout you guys? Are you saving where you can?

Hey Mrs. Dee!!! How are you? Sounds like you are doing GREAT! Love this blog. Make me hungry girl! I haven't eaten since I woke up. Had a small sandwich at 4am. So I guess I'm not hungry. I used to work at several places where the holidays had us full of food. Always having dinners and the such. After one of them I lost 40 pounds in one month. That was 2000. Now how come I can't do that now? lol maybe it was 2 months but still? Have a great time in during the Heat Wave and tell the men to treat you Extra Special this weekend! It warmed up here a little too Dee, the wind was not so bad and the sun was out so It was good. That was very thoughtful of you to give the employees the wine! I would have been happy too. job with the food and goodies. It is very cold here in Ohio also so I understand what you mean by 7 or 8 degrees. I only have to pick two small gifts and yes, I have tried to keep my gifts thoughtful to the individuals and I did not spent quite as much this year as in the past. Good Day Sparkfam!! Its a blustery day here in Chicago but I found that as the day wears on its warmer than I think it is. But I did bundle up cause I would rather be a littler warm than chilly in this weather. I have to share this with you cause maybe I am wrong & right at the same time but I just can't seem to move past this...

Okay, so I woke up this morning at 4am with a whopping headache & couldn't get back to sleep. So I started watching tv. Well, I watched Joyce Meyer but then I laid back down head feeling like little men were banging on the inside. I almost felt like not coming in cause I just was dragging all the way. Finally got dressed & got here. I took off my coat put my lunch bag down & an hour later I noticed I had dropped one of my gloves. . .

I went to my truck looked all around inside & out. Then came back into the office & nothing. Well there was a car parked next to mine that wasn't there so I figured they would bring the glove in when they found. Well, I saw someone getting into the van & guess what I witnessed with my own eyes?! He put on one leather black glove on his right hand & the other hand was bare!! WHO does this??!! I don't know how I feel? I feel kinda duped cause I just knew why would someone want only one glove?!! Co-workers said go back & look under your truck, I only had to pick up my glove & know that he put the glove on the right hand. I still had my left hand glove. I feel bad cause it was my fault I dropped it, right? So finder's keepers losers weepers, right?!! But why do I feel like I wanted to run after his car & bang on his window to get my glove back. Is that just too vigilante? lol Maybe he just needed a glove, I mean it was a woman's M/L to fit over my rings and all but HELP ME LORD!!!! I feel duped. . . lol

Just the ranting of a woman who had those gloves for a year and a half. So give me rant & rave please, thank you VERY much!!! lol

Today, I am going to try to do some dancing & weights. I haven't been hitting the workouts like normal but I have had my grandson (yeah right any excuse to lighten up!) a couple nights a week so my body is confused.

I pray you guys are keeping warm, I am off to buy more gloves. . . .

Sounds like this man had no money to buy gloves?That doesn't give him the right to steal it,or maybe he thinks he just found it and it is "finders keepers" for him? Thieves walk in darkness. We are in the light. But I do understand especially if they are your Favorite. It is cold here and we are not used to it. If was warm for a while now the cool air is sweeping thur the city. I have become popular with my boys they all (except my middle boy want a hat) I crochet and I am warming up my crochet hook and I am creating hats, scarves. Later I make some Goodies for my mother and sister. My older son has been sporting hats at the college. Two boys want one make. I am sure God will provide for you. Sorry you had rough night Dee. I cannot believe that the guy slipped that glove on his hand and nothing was on the other hand! common sense tells ya that someone may be looking for it. Happy Sunday . . .

Happy Sunday Sparkfam!! Its been a nice weekend except for the snow & chilly weather. Its cold here in Chicago! I know we all are experiencing some dips in temperatures but it is December & we should be ready right?! Wrong! I'm not but I accept it & I am moving on . . .

We ended up going to Friday's last night at 9pm because he was too tired on Friday. So of course it snowed yesterday & the temperatures dipped & all was frozen & cold. We got there & I kept nudging my 17yr old to get the waitress to get them to sing the happy birthday song. Well it was hopeless then we looked up & saw my family was at the restaurant to so my sons went to visit them. I went to the restroom for 2 minutes & guess what? They came & didn't let them sing the song he just got the ice cream. I was too mad! I wanted him to be surprised & shocked! lol

So wasn't feeling well today so I have been home all day. Seasoned some chicken & baked it quickly. So I am still in bed.

Stay well girl this season for chilly winds is here. We have no snow yet and I am happy I am not a snow fan. When it does snow here it is a treat for the kids. Cause snow is rare here. Humm restuarant folks not singing. Well I can bet that I remember one birthday. He hubbie tricked me and had the resturant folks sing happy birthday to me. I could have crawled under the table. Good Friday Sparkfam! Its a brisk day here in Chicago & I need to warm my baby (ford expedition) she's really special to us. So I try to treat her with care as I have had her for 10years I would like to keep her another 2years God willing & the creek don't rise. lol She has a tune up appointment in the a.m. so let's pray for 3inches of snow or less.

So you heard me talking about snow earlier right? Well here in Chicago we are supposed to get like 4-8inches of snow so I went to Target (they are SO high) but I need milk & eggs for breakfast in the morning & fresh bread. So we just need to get some dog food & salt for the stars & concrete. Try to stay warm:

Tonight I will be dancing & then we are going to dinner to celebrate my hubby's b'day. It should be fun & I will try not to fall asleep but he wants to get out & just have a small celebration thank goodness!

So what are your plans for tonight? Anything fun?

Well happy day! Tell your husband I send him a belated birthday. Hope it was a wonderful time for you all. Did it snow? It's great living in a state like Texas now that snow is not something to look for in the winter. I'm from Oklahoma and you know how that weather is. Lots of it and plenty of it. Happy December 1st Sparkfam!! Its a VERY brisk Wednesday here in Chicago & I was bundled up but did I miss those buttons that happened to fall off my dress coat today! Let me tell you I wore an under jacket & long sleeve shirt & the heat in the truck was slow to warm. BRRRRRRR is all I can say. So its my hubby's 42nd b'day & I woke up & told him "Happy Birthday!" Guess what? He was so busy getting ready for work that he almost forgot but heaven help us if we had not called him later in the morning to express our glee over his birth.

My daughter got me a nice card for him & I got him a Jack Lalane juicer which is on its way & the kids got him a funny b'day card & a black insulated hoodie from A.J. Wright. The hoodie is all the rage these days but the juicer is for his health. He has wanted one of those & the PX90 for the longest. Maybe PX90 for us both on Christmas or the Rosetta Stone are possibilities? So I did loads of walking getting him a double chocolate cake from Portillo's. They are all over but if you have one near you, you have got to get one of those to take to the party with a gallon of milk. I know the recipe but its so much easier to pick up the cake at the store done.



I've been helping my daughter who has a class in the evening Monday & Wednesday after work by keeping my grandson overnight. It helps her get some rest & do her homework. I don't normally keep him for nights as I am a firm believer in you have to raise your own child/children so you blame yourself for all their mistakes. lol But no, I love keeping him but he likes to stay up til 11pm & I like to be in bed by 10pm. I hope I'm getting Juicy Couture for Christmas or MoMo (what Israel calls me) gone feel unappreciated.

I have been so busy with him that I almost forgot that today is also the 13th anniversary that my mom has been gone. She was such a strong tower in my life & she prayed a righteous prayer all the time. She is my she-ro FOREVER! She raised us all to be decent christians no matter which way we went & she did it as a divorcee. I sent my family a very nice but sad text but I was glad to remind them of today. I also added my aunts 2 cousins but forgot my uncle. He was so cool! I miss him too. It was tough but we had so many great times I pray my own children we will remember the times.

So its hump day & I didn't dance but boy oh boy did I HUMP!!

So I am dancing now for the beautiful people & things in life. I pray you are too!!

Cake more trouble..that reminds me my hubbies birthday is on christmas and he always asks for homemade cake.
