Its Monday Sparkfam & time to ROCK THIS JOINT!!! WOOHOO!!!

I really did heal & relax over the weekend & just rested up & slept. My hubby cooked so I propped myself up & cooked some spaghetti & seasoned the meat. Once that was done. I sat down & tried to keep him company cause it got dark really fast with the time change.

So I got up this morning & moved around a little bit & did some dancing, yoga & walk/jog around the house. Tonight its weights & abs while I watch Chuck. I am feeling so much better today than last week. I guess my body said, "NO!" & I went with that. My head felt like it was about burst & I just felt like sleeping. I did just that. I felt like so lazy but I loved every moment of it!! lol Well I didn't have soda & chips but I did have cookies & laid around.

So what are you guys doing for your health today!!

I walked outside today and took it slow because I feel it when I don't. Ate fewer calories like I wanted to. Had 5 veggies today. Been keeping that most days.

I Just Don't Feel Like It. . .

So Happy Thursday Sparkfam!! I have had one of those weeks where I just didn't feel like it. Have you ever felt that way? I mean, I know if I just push past those stupid feelings I would feel totally fine. For some reason, I just don't feel like it. I mean, it has been a hectic week at work, I haven't washed a load of clothes or did a workout worth posting & that's not like me. I know that what is going on at work has played a tremendous roll on how tired I am. I hate to say tired cause it seems weak minded. So what have you guys been up?

I've been eating okay but my workouts have suffered some. I will try to pick it up again next week. Or as the quote goes, "It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you go."

Be kind to someone we never know how much it will warm their hearts!

Your body needs rest in some way. Maybe your mind/soul or spirit.

emoticonStretching is sooo relaxing and freeing.

I have had that feeling and it used to make me want to come to tears. Jobs can be so taxing. Good thing you like your job. We all should enjoy what we do. Otherwise I don't think it's worth your time. That's me. emoticon

Hope today went better. I heard Pastor Joel Osteen say a study says people get happier on Fridays because they know the weekend is coming. lol emoticon

    Hey Diva,

I've definitely been there and feel like I'm there now, BUT I know that it's Spark friends like you who keep me going on here and help me to get out of that "rut" when I'm in it. It's totally okay to experience these types of moods once in a while 'cause I think that it's just a hint from your body and mind that you, too, have to rest sometimes.

    We all get in moods where we don't feel like doing anything.     I feel just like you. I think it may be the change of weather I lost this week too. I ate right but, I didn't exercise like I should. But thank GOD for the weekend, next week I will make it up. Have a good weekend. Don't stop trying keep pushing on.

    That's when you need that friend that won't let you go by your feelings. Once you get going then you will forget those feelings of not feeling like it. In all honesty though it does happen and as long as you don't let it happen every day a day off may help. emoticon

Its Free Monday or Not . . .

Good Monday Sparkfam!! Its been one of those Mondays that started out pretty promising & then I got to work. lol Here's how it went, I got here & my boss took a vacation day. Then I didn't have my coffee & I don't drink it over the weekend but I need that boost on Monday. Then I forgot that a company that wants us to use their catering company was bringing over food. Oh My goodness!!! I mean, I thought he was just bringing a taste? Oh no! He brought Asiago Chicken, zucchini bread with/ sauce, ravioli, strawberry/apple spinach salad with feta cheese & walnuts, dipping french bread & doughy chocolate chip cookies! I am so stuffed I want to take a nap! lol

No time since were on a skeleton crew I got to run around get everybody together for the food & then try to get people to take it home in doggie bags. Got a report from one of my co-workers that we had 5 mice run right over his feet as he opened the front door this morning! I mean, the mice are as crafty as Jerry Mouse you know like on Tom & Jerry. I'm serious! I don't know what it is but we seem to get like 5 kitten/cats to come to our facility & they help keep the mice population down. Its getting cold & owners just drop them off by us & we seem to find them good home. lol

So my eating today has been atrocious! It will be an hour of step aerobics tonight & at least 45mins of Tae Bo tomorrow to giggle this stuff around & position just right. lol Its all in my mind but it helps me feel like I am battle fat with everything I got!

I had half a bacon/scrambled egg croissants, fruit salad, 2 zucchini bread, a bite of chocolate chip cookie, a taste of pulled pork & I also had some Keebler Fudge Stripe cookies w/milk. I feel like this guy:

So what are you eating today? Halloween I wasn't as bad as I would've been years before.

    Ok...I don't care about the food. Those mice eeks me out. lol the food sounds good though. I would have loved that strawberry spinach salad. That would be great! You can have some days Dee. But you did your job and then worked it out. Yep you can afford to nibble here and there for your job. lol Hope you had a better Tuesday. God bless you and keep up the great work!!!

    That always gets me off track , people bringing food in to work!
Just can't say no! I gotta have my coffee in the morning girl! don't know how you could skip it! The food sounded SOOOOOOO good Dee! I behaved Monday, I had an english muffin with I can't believe it's not butter spread, and a Granola bar for a snack, then for dinner I made Grilled cheese and soup.     I cam eto work today after setting my November goals, one of them being No More Candy!!. and of course everyone brought their leftover candy. i did well and did not indulge, however I did have on frosted sugar cookie (shame shame) didnt throw me over the calorie limit too much though.     Oh my, don't you hate those traps when people bring food to work?? LOL!

We all have our days of overindulgence, I'm sure that you'll be able to make up for it by adding an extra workout this week.

Myself, I indulged in BACON this morning - one of my weaknesses. I only had 3 pieces, and at least it was turkey bacon, but oh, I wanted more.

I did very well over Halloween as well, only one Reese's peanut butter cup for me.

Its Sunday Sparkfam & the stove is working. . . . My menu today is baked & fried chicken, broccoli, au gratin potato & sweet potatoes. No trick or treaters & thats cool cause I love quiet Sundays. I power walked today for the QFC & abs I'm working on it. I will see if I can get some weight lifting in but depends on when the food is done. I stand on my feet the whole time so I get no rest until dinner has been served & dishes washed.

HAPPY FRIDAY Sparkfam!! I hate to rush the days but actually Thursday is my favorite day of the week. But I will take Friday every week. lol So last night I did rest the leg & had my hubby rub down my leg with witch hazel which it seem to have worked cause I did this mornings workout with no nagging little pain.

Well my workout today is walking of course which I try to do everyday. Not just walking to & from my car, or to the frig. I actually make an effort to wear my pedometer & try to get those 10,000+ steps. Some days I make & others I will call my rest day. lol Today I caught up on body sculpt with Kendall & then I danced to seal the deal.

Do you ever do your exercise in a certain order to seal in the work that you have done? I like to do weights first & then do cardio or yoga. I don't if it will make sense to you but it absolutely makes sense to me. lol

today for breakfast I had oatmeal & 2 slices of honey wheat toast w/butter & jelly. I was so full, YUMMY!! For lunch I was almost bad, I had a McDonald's Happy Meal w/coca cola. I didn't do too bad because I could've had a SUPERSIZE ME meal. lol I eat half the fries, too most of the bread of the hamburger & took a few swigs from the coke & poured it out. Tonight for dinner will be light. Maybe I might get out tomorrow & make it date night? It could happen. . . .((((HUGS))))
