You are really good at bringing your adventures to life. I know that feels being off then coming back. The slowest day ever. Thank God I'm over that and I control my times. Thanks for the sharing and enjoy this weekend! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Girl God is good all the time. We do heat with Gas and I always say a prayer before turning for bed. No our boys don't enjoy being around us older folks either LOL until they want something like money LOL! kids!!! My older boy ...I think I have indirectly influenced him with his hair. I learned to double twist my hair FINALLY now my son got his girl friend to put small trees(twists in his hair.) My hubbie is not on the natural board....so I am praying hard for my son.

Am I really that bossy or manipulative in gettin my own way? Thank God its Friday Spark fam! WOOHOO! Celebrate!! Well the reason for that question is me & the hubby celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary yesterday. We went to a restaurant he wanted me to try & I was not impressed. My mood, demeanor & attitude showed in every way. . Ladies & some men, you know what I mean. If its not quite up to OUR standards the the conversation is limited & the body language is tense. Oh we went to Pappadeaux which is a decent restaurant seafood & steak place. I do like Fridays for a quick bite & its fairly priced but on a special occasions I want Gibson, Capitol Grille or Mortens!
The atmosphere was more like Fridays but a bit more in price. We were seated next to a table filled with ladies celebrating a birthday. Needless to say, the waitress may as well seated at their table. We heard their conversation & every breathe they took! It was very distracting of our nice quiet evening. . . . Am I wrong for not being talkative or limited in conversation? I didn't ask to be moved or leave when he asked if I wanted too. I endured & even started talking. I told him this one is for him since he implied I always pick the restaurants. I wanted to be able to be with him & enjoy his restaurant.
Anywho. . . . Did not workout yesterday which means, I HIT it today! My workouts leave me happier than normal. Today, I did 60mins Imax 2 step aerobics, 60mins of walk/jog DVD, 30mins of Dance & be fit & 30mins of weights.
God bless & take care!
Dee

Alright...Kiss that man and make up. Love is worth more than a place to eat. Girl if you knew how blessed you are to have a man...your husband take you out on a date...well you know Deb and she's learned from you to speak the truth in love. LOL It's ok to act like a spoiled child but smile and tell him you love him some more. Go buy him something special for YOU to wear. Ok I'm through DEE. LOL But you are blessed. I could tell you some stories. Please...appreciate that man always! You are Abundantly Blessed! Blessings! DEBR>HAPPY ANNIVERSARY AND MANY MORE TO COME!!! Report Inappropriate Comment |

Noisy people, noisy restaurants, not too neat on any occasion. I bet one of the guys told him this was a great place to go. Hope you two have a sepcial occasion together soon. I've reached the age where I never opt for a Friday night out.

I would have felt exactly the way you did Dee, I believe in having fun just like everyone else, but when you are seated next to other people it would be nice to tone things down some. You had a special night and wanted to spend time with your man, not other women, You were a doll to think of your husband's feelings b/c he liked the restaurant and that is what marriage is all about! have a Great weekend Dee! Ummmmmmm just saying and I love you to pieces, but it has to be totally about him and yourself and nothing else. Not the talking, the place, the atmoshere, just you and him. As a single parent that is definitely alone most of the time, I would have traded places with you in a heart beat. What counts is your union and the two of you should be able to glow no matter where you are. Ummmmm just saying all the physical perks are not what it's about. Your my shero and I mean that! God takes us to places sometimes because we never know what the spiritual pull is that draws you there. A rainbow might have been outside and I bet you missed it?
