What if we could fight hunger like Popeye did with spinach? Wouldn't that be lovely. . . . So how did I fight over indulgence today: I ate strawberries & a banana & I did have swedish fish but one serving so far. lol
I did walking today, I did Pilates Sculpt with weights & push ups & tricep dips & inner & outer thigh. I am tired but I do need a yoga workout so I will go to exercisetv.com for a freebies. How did you fight the urge to over eat?

Here is my BIGGEST breakfast weakness. . . Thing is, I only want them when I make them. I tend to make them on the weekends but this morning I woke up & my son & husband wanted pancakes, bacon & turkey sausages. Mother had to make sure her babies go out into the world fed. Here's my favorite cartoon about pancakes. . . . .
See you get the pancakes, more butter, more syrup, more butter, more syrup but as you can see, Chilly Willy had to pay a price before he could have those mouth watering pancakes. . . YUMMY!! If were accountable with over indulgence as we have to pay to play (eat) how many times we would over do it fully knowing the consequence? Being overweight leads to hypertension, diabetes heart disease & many other life threatening diseases. With proper nutrition think of how healthy & fit we could all be?
Look at these Red velvet pancakes served with whipped cream cheese and butter pecan syrup, they look amazing! How can proper nutrition fight against this?
You can eat one pancake like I do & a slice of bacon, like I do. But I do need to ease up on the syrup & butter? lol Today, I did walking, tonight its weights, pilates & step aerobics., so see I can eat the cookies (pancakes) & feel less guilt. To some degree we have to either pull back from the table or do more push ups, squats, sits up & cardio with weights. . . . lol

This song encompasses the meaning of my beautiful mother, may she rest in peace. Her memory is with me everyday, some times I laugh & then I cry. Not of sadness but of joy of having had such the love of mother. Who wanted to know where I was & what I was doing?Who took me to church & tried to raise me right. She stayed on her knees a many a night praying for all 6 of us & her prayers continue on today.
To all the beautiful mothers & memories of beautiful mothers that have gone on to glory, this ones for you!

So I was watching the commercial for the Sunsweet Prunes. I actually had no desire to buy these but my hubby (who can be a health nut at times) was like, I might like to try those? So guess what? You guessed it, I picked up a canister of these sweet treats. My first thought when I think of prunes is my mother or some type of grandparent fruit. Well, my first try, I didn't like them. I looked at the canister again this morning & decided to pop 2 in my purse for fighting the early morning blahs or afternoon hunger. Well I ate them & I actually like them. They satisfied my sweet tooth & believe you me, its bigger than me! lol So if you want to try something new or thinking about these sweet treats, they are pre-packaged to throw in your purse or pocket. Just a thought. . . .
Today, I got up & did the Dance & Be Fit segment on FitTv & I was actually out of breathe & trying to keep up. It was the Brazilian one & man the gyrations alone leave me feeling dirty & I was sweaty. LOL My whole body turned red at some of those moves but I was in my own house behind clothes doors as to not offend any onlookers. LOL Anyway, I continued on with prayer and then did my hand & body weight workout. I am walking all day at work when I can & also did Target on my lunch break. I want to do step aerobics on FitTv tonight but I won't have the time. UGH!! I'm going with the flow while its flowing. I wanna be cover up free by the summer. . . So the fire burns. . . . .

Go light but just work it out! Oh did you think I was going to give an excuse not to workout because you aren't going hard? You know that ain't me! lol Since my neck is feeling better I have actually been able to do a few moves but I PROMISE you, they have been carefully calculated. lol
Today, I did walk the dog, did more walking, did 45mins of light weights & abs, did 20mins of glute work & will try to tie it all up with 30mins of kickboxing while watching my guilty pleasure:
I know, I know. . . . I am working on cutting back & trying studying the Word more & reading too. I hope you guys are doing something that's what counts. Small efforts will lead to big efforts.
