So I don't have any complaints about today. I actually got up & took my son to school at 6am!

I came home sat on the bed watching FitTV, not really interested &
I looked on the schedule & Cathe's Push/Pull was on for this evening.
Guess what? I got that DVD!!

So I popped that puppy in & did half of it then did some Yoga poses.

So I will get to do the other half tonight & do some of Jillian Michaels
and the Girl is BACK, baby!!

Kicking procrastination in the BUTT!!

    LOL. Seriously - the cat is just too much....Girl, did you get your cathe in or you are probablly taking a day off. Are you able to get your workouts in as much as you wanted. I know you been bloging about that. I hope soo. I miss feeling guilty when I read about your 2 hours sessions with cathe and others. They really put my but in prospective.

Still Sluggish . . .

At the beginning of January FitTv changed my Cathe from 6am some new dumbfangled yoga, bhangra dancing & some of other crazy stuff. I can't seem to get my a.m. workouts like I used to. That enable to have more fitness minutes & got my day started.

In other news, I did upgrade one of my cable boxes to a DVR so I can record Cathe's workout & do them the next day. This is challenging for me again cause I workout in my bedroom & I don't want to be dragging, 10-20lbs weights up & down the stairs! I guess it could give me some incentives to work my lower body.

Oh well, still I'm feeling sluggish cause I am not gettin my workouts in like I want to this year. When I get home in the evening I got time for yoga or sit ups or a 30minute workout before my tv programs come on or I have fix dinner for the boys.

Any comments or suggestions? Input is welcomed! LOL

    Ummmmmm, I don't know. Maybe if you can afford another pair of weights to keep in your bedroom, maybe that'll make it easier! Or maybe try something different in the morning, and the plus side is that your body will probably get a good wake up call by trying something new. It might get you burning that fat faster by giving your body something new! Good luck!

    Make sure that you are not doing too much and check to see if your nutritional intake is keeping up with your energy expenditure... it could also be mental burnout too... I just went through that...

But, maybe trying a "brand new" workout would get you out of the slump... could be boredom...

You have a lot of great suggestions here... I hope that you get that "Spark" back soon...

    Yes, look at your nutrition, & get a medical checkup if you keep feeling sluggish.
As for the workouts, I just suggest figuring out how to organize things so that you are less likely to skip. That has been a longtime issue for me, but fortunately I've finally cottoned onto the kind of workout I need & gotten my bedtime in sync to give me time.

    You could keep some of your work out equip in your room. That is what I do, so it is right there staring me in the face in the morning. Since I did it am able to be more consistent with my workouts when able to work out.

You kick but at working out, and perhaps should get this sluggish feeling checked out. Maybe a touch of SAD, or some sort of nutritional imbalance? This is winter in Chicago, both are pretty common even in very healthy people.

    I love my DVR! you will too Dee! I think you are doing great with your workout. Even if you don't have too much time b/c of caring for the boy's , some workout is better than none. 1) You may be feeling sluggish for other reasons but you do workout hard. Are you taking enough vitamins that you need? When is the last time you had a blood test to measure all the balances? That is a good idea. And that may contribute to the sluggish feeling?

2) Change in diet could also be contributing. Have you had changes in your diet?

3) Are you getting enough sleep?

4) We all ove our shows. But that is why the DVR is so important. I have had Tivo for years and then DVR now. I record all my shows and watch them the day after so I can foward through commercials and save time. Think of the DVR as a way to save time in your life so you can fit everything you want in.     I love my DVR! I couldn't live without it! (Well maybe I could, LOL) Listen, just log the carrying the weights up and down the stairs as a workout. Good for the arms! I know you will figure it down my friend!
I have no idea what bhangra dancing is, but I bet you would look good doing it!

  How frustrating is that! Would it work to just store your weights in the room with the DVR in it? I mean, yeah you can drag the weights up & down the stairs, but that seems like an unnecessary obstacle.

    Did you try to see if they have the exercises you like on dvd? Exercise dvd's sell real cheap on ebay, and sometimes on amazon. Or just rent from netflix or blockbuster.

    hmmm - I'm confused - so, if you have the DVR now why can't you still do Cathe in the morning? Or isn't the dvr hooked up to that tv? I know we have dvr but only on one tv. Did I tell you that I realized that I have FitTV over the holidays while I was wrapping Christmas gifts. How could I have never known that????
