Weekend Delight . . . .

So I slowly got out of bed this morning but once I did, I was off & running!

My legs are still tingly from all the errands & runs I had to do today but I am grateful to my kids today! WHY? Well my daughter went with me as I shopped & she picked up a few things so that kinda kept me from going cuckoo! LOL Then my oldest did my the BIGGEST favor of the week by taking my baby to the movies! They went to see this & I just can't really stomach seeing another cartoon movie & in 3D!

I do enjoy watching kid movies on cable like Ratatouille, Toy Story Trilogy, Cars is my favorite but I just didn't feel like the movies today. So what did I do instead? I get to blog & do a light workout this evening that would never have taken place because when they are here, they argue all day long!! Some times well into the night! So mom got a bit of peace & quiet! So I spreading my spark!

No that's not me actually doing the jumping but I would if I could! LOL

    worked out, then went to work til 7pm - then went to my girlfriend Lana's B'Day party Out very very very late & had 1 maybe 2 too many cocktails. I was havin' a ball - you'd have to break BOTH legs to get me off the dance floor when the music's rockin'. And the shoes were high enough to cause a nosebleed.

    emoticon I enjoyed caulking the gutter, trimming the grass, and a small concrete job. Got in two one mile walks, and my sister did all the cooking today! A great day from start to finish.

    I'm enjoying some peace and quiet too as well as getting some things done around the house. I'm going to go read in a little while. I didn't get much sleep last night and was up early this morning and will be up early again tomorrow for early church service so hopefully I can get to bed early. Enjoy your peace and quiet.

40 + 40 + 40 +40 = Health . . .

So you wanna know how I came up with that number today? Well it started after I got out of bed feeling a little groggy. I put my shoes on one foot at a time only to find I hadn't put on my workout shorts or top so I had to laugh to myself! LOL This being 40 years young can be something else. Anyway, I turned to FitTv & they were doing my one of favorite segments, Legs & Glutes & after I got the rest of my clothes on I got right into my workout. So I gave myself 40minutes of tightening my legs, thighs, glutes & calf muscles. Then I put in my Boot Camp DVD & gave another 40 minutes of that high octane fast past total body workout. OUCH!
That darn Cathe is going to be the life of me! emoticon emoticon emoticon so after that All Star Workout with Sara Ivanhoe with yoga (vinyasa) segment & I would call that warm yoga I think I gave about 40minutes & burned close to 400 calories!

After I was done I walked for 40minutes & tonight I will give some abs & light stretch for an additional 40minutes! So after all that I will be lying in bed watching Medium. I will definitely sleep tight tonight! So here's to my life, health & well being.

I also need to ask you one question, what have you done for YOU lately?!

    You are awesome - walked as much as I could today - had a REAL BAD nosebleed last night so lifting was off limits -I'm gonna try that ab workout - lord onlyknows there's room for improvement. Keep us movin sweet DEE emoticon emoticon emoticon

    My plan was to drop in on a Runner's Training class, but they canceled it. I was so disappointed and really wanted to work out so I checked out the other classes they had going on. Found a Zumba class being led by a male instructor. I only mention that because at one point during the class he was doing belly dancing moves and he moved better than any woman I have ever seen. emoticon

Anyway I worked out for 60 minutes and had a lot of fun.

So what did I do for myself...I left 90 in the bank after I decided that I would put a down payment on some braces for myself!

If Ihad known that was all that would be left in my account until next month...I might have changed my mind!

But I decided that I would pay for myown braces...and get my smile back together! :o)
I need to do more for me...without getting permission from anyone else 1st...this was my start!

I know what you mean about putting clothes on in the wrong order. Sometimes I can't seem to find the clothes that are laying right there in front of me. Side effect of being over 40 LOL?

So lately, I have been just going through the motions. I was starting to feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day or Denzel Washington in DeJaVue like I had been here many many many times before. My workouts are pretty intense but I felt like I need to be pushed in a different directions. Although I do enjoy getting healthy, I have been too laxed about it! So yesterday after doing ab work with Cathe on FitTv,

I went to OnDemand, Exercisetv & found "get ripped." I was like well it couldn't hurt to try. Well I opened up Marco Reed & the man ripped me a new one!

It was new because it was boot camp but it revved it up 5 notches! I consider myself pretty fit but he threw me into a tail spin. Push up after push up, jumping jacks, squats & all done with weights, I was sweating like a PIG! I did do Jillian Michaels

yesterday morning & that was fine but Marco Reed has every muscle in my back, chest, abs, thighs & even my feet aching! So I had to show them what a Spark Member was made of, I had to finish & strong & I DID! Although I pushed it, what was Salt N Pepper pushing?!
Let's make everyday count. Live, love & laugh like its the first & best ever!
