Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary...
Day 983 of my captivity...
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets.
Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ...
Today I write in my dairy that I am feeling very blah & trying to get a hold on my eating. . . One day I will reach the goals I have for myself.
So I slowly got out of bed this morning but once I did, I was off & running!
My legs are still tingly from all the errands & runs I had to do today but I am grateful to my kids today! WHY? Well my daughter went with me as I shopped & she picked up a few things so that kinda kept me from going cuckoo! LOL Then my oldest did my the BIGGEST favor of the week by taking my baby to the movies! They went to see this & I just can't really stomach seeing another cartoon movie & in 3D!
I do enjoy watching kid movies on cable like Ratatouille, Toy Story Trilogy, Cars is my favorite but I just didn't feel like the movies today. So what did I do instead? I get to blog & do a light workout this evening that would never have taken place because when they are here, they argue all day long!! Some times well into the night! So mom got a bit of peace & quiet! So I spreading my spark!
No that's not me actually doing the jumping but I would if I could! LOL

So you wanna know how I came up with that number today? Well it started after I got out of bed feeling a little groggy. I put my shoes on one foot at a time only to find I hadn't put on my workout shorts or top so I had to laugh to myself! LOL This being 40 years young can be something else. Anyway, I turned to FitTv & they were doing my one of favorite segments, Legs & Glutes & after I got the rest of my clothes on I got right into my workout. So I gave myself 40minutes of tightening my legs, thighs, glutes & calf muscles. Then I put in my Boot Camp DVD & gave another 40 minutes of that high octane fast past total body workout. That darn Cathe is going to be the life of me! so after that All Star Workout with Sara Ivanhoe with yoga (vinyasa) segment & I would call that warm yoga I think I gave about 40minutes & burned close to 400 calories!
After I was done I walked for 40minutes & tonight I will give some abs & light stretch for an additional 40minutes! So after all that I will be lying in bed watching Medium. I will definitely sleep tight tonight! So here's to my life, health & well being.
