Do Fries Go With That Shake?

So today, we have meetings going on. So I order pizza which is not the end of the world for me but for another meeting we are holding I order Arby's. As I was hanging up the phone, the rep remember that I some times order the Vanilla Shake & said oh well I am sending you one. Well I got up early to log for the day cause its going to be busy & a shake does not calculate into my daily calories. I could have a sip but what's the point?! I go hard or I don't go at all. LOL Anyway, I had to move some things around & could have the shake & no dinner?

Or have the shake? I guess its a part of enjoy life EVERYDAY to give up on the shake & go for the healthier opportunities! So I am off to do the rest of my push ups & do my butt kicks which are the challenge for my QFC Team for the day! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Blessings & enjoy EVERYDAY! Dee

Have dinner. I would want the shake and then be hungry for dinner as well.
So, great idea to check out the calories before you sipped! emoticon emoticon

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Don't skip dinner, just don't have the shake.

I find it hard to overeat and then try to skip a meal. I guess my mind set is "it's a certain time so you have to eat", or the rest of the family is eating so I have too also. Will have to work on this in order to indulge every once in a while.

Fresh Meat . . . .

Sunday, August 30, 2009

Do you remember the feeling you had when you first found or were introduced to Sparkpeople? Well I could hardly believe all this was FREE?! How could this be? Most weight loss agency charge for this kind of uniform service. I could hardly believe my eyes, there had to be a catch? Well safe to say, my computer had not been infected with some worm carrying virus for becoming a member of Spark & my life has been healthier since joining.

So what am I carrying on about then? Well if you remember how you felt & there was so much information & the support, that I was too outdone! So what I want from you REAL SPARKPEOPLE, is to go to the message boards & welcome 2 new members & offer a smile & a welcome to Sparkpeople!

Easy enough, so won't you join me. . . No we won't throw pennies at the fresh meat people!! LOL Let's be as nice to the newbies as someone else was kind enough to us on our first days here!

Spread the Spark!!

Blessings & Enjoy EVERYDAY!! Somehow. . . . emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticonDee

I thought it was pretty incredible that SP did not charge also. I was a member of one of the other ones. $6.95/month and $59.99 a year!! I started out at $19.99/year! That was affordable. I've heard since its gone up to either $79.99 or $89.99 /year. I'll stick to SP thank you! I find more info here than I ever did there anyway!

Happy Sunday - I'm a day behind obviously.

Today I had a lovely day; partly because of the flowers you sent my way. As you
know the garden is there for you. May you be blessed each time you drop by.
Thank you for the kindness, glass emoticon

Love your enthusiasm! Unfortunately, here in Sacramento it is NOT 63 degrees - don't think it even got out of the 70's overnight - it is over 100, and I'm not going outside to do ANYTHING except pick up after the dogs. Need to go to grocery store - will have to wait 'til sun goes down. But I am glad to hear that the weather is pleasant somewhere and that it inspires you to get out and have fun.

I Did Eat This . . .

Thursday, August 27, 2009

For breakfast this morning I was having a sweet tooth hangover. So I had 5 fudge stripe cookies with a full glass of milk. Now being that I have been at Sparkpeople for 2+ years, you'd think I would know better? Some times those cookies just call out to me from the cabinet, "Eat Me, Eat Me Please." Who am I to deny those cookies a good home?! So just call me you guessed it:

Now I did have to think about not having that 6th cookie but then I thought of my Sparkbuddies & put the cookies down & moved away slowly. I have been working hard so I think I can do this at least once in awhile but it couldn't happen everyday?! Or could it? Naw, just my sweet tooth talking. . . . So today I was going to do a rest day with walking, abs, a few push ups, some isometric moves but now, I got pay a penance for giving in . . .

Oh, my aching buns, thighs, shoulders, chest & abs! Yikes

I will be doing Jillian Michaels for at least 30-45minutes, it won't be too bad? Don't cry for me though.

This healthier lifestyle journey starts & ends with ME!

You know you work extra hard on more days than not so you can splurge like that. You are a beautiful woman no matter what so I guess it takes you to know you. Still, I don't think your husband is complaining!!! Cookies taste better when you make them from scratch. If you tried making the fudge striped cookies from scratch could be penance. LOL
Much luv to ya!!!

I know you will work them off in no time.
It's a plus that you drank them with milk.
