It has been a good week again. I am thinking aboout starting a new hobby, geocaching. I really like treasure hunts and car rallies, so this is right up my alley. I like the fact that I can incorporate exercise with something that is fun.
It was good week with eating. In fact, when I was out at a Birthday dinner, I tried a citrus chicken salad at Moxie's Grill and it was the best salad that I have ever had. It had a fig dressing..mmmm.
I also rewarded myself with the Spark book yesterday. I am hoping to start reading it by the weekend. I need to finish the mystery novel that I am reading first.
I am looking forward to another great week, so on to week fourteen.

I am happy with my weight loss this week. After a big loss last week, I expected this week to be small. This week I have had some added stress. I have to make some decisions about jobs and moving, etc. My eating has been okay and I have kept up with my exercise. It has actually felt good to get on the treadmill and walk my stress away. I know that the old me would have tried to eat the stress away. I really have made some changes that will contribute to a healthier lifestyle.
On to week thirteen...

It really does work. I have changed up my exercise routine for the last two weeks and voila. I took my walking outside and have been walking on the trails. It definitely feels like a workout when I am finished and I have felt slightly sore muscles. I can't wait for the warmer weather, so that I can explore new areas.
My eating went well this week. I did attend a birthday party, but I stayed within my calorie range. I also was on the road for an interview, but I brought snacks for in the car.
This is a celebratory week for me because I have now lost 50lbs. I have lost 37 lbs since joining Sparks and 13 lbs before joining. I still have a long way to go, but I am definitely proud of my success.
Now I am on to week twelve....
