Week 12 here - 8 weeks to go!

Monday, July 27, 2009

I stayed on track last week and through the weekend, managing not to gain a pound - and to exercise everyday - I am proud! I know this is a long journey - losing the last 10 pounds is the most difficult thing! This week it's back to salads for dinner and no alcohol - that's going to get me to my goal!

Week 11

Monday, July 20, 2009

My 11TH week of Boot Camp, but I just signed on for another 4. I didn't gain weight this weekend - YAY! And this begins my 3 weeks of no alcohol during the week and lots of salads for dinner - so I feel really strongly I'll reach my goal of 1LB a week - maybe even beat it! emoticon

On a new roll

After meeting with a nutritional expert, I have really started to take a fresh look at my diet. Today was my first homemade green smoothie, but I've been drinking NAKED ones since Monday. It's salads for lunch and reasonable dinners - with salad for me - and cutting WAY back on the alcohol intake. I can do this - it's about being healthy!

Confused and Concerned

Monday, June 29, 2009

I pride myself in knowing a lot about fitness and nutrition, but today I'm wondering what it's going to take. I'm working out 5-6 days a week for an hour in an agressive boot camp, I'm eating mostly fruits and vegetables, my weight is fluctuating, but so is my body fat. I'm seeing some difference in the way my clothes fit - but it's not enough. What do I have to do???

If you've already had things like thyroid function tested, the only thing you can do is to keep doing what you know is right and focus on the fitness motivation.

Lifting so many pounds, running so fast, running so long. And focus on properly fueling yourself for these activities. That will help you to stay motivated. Honestly. Working out and eating appropriately - it took me about 6 months to lose 15 pounds. Keep with it because of the things that being fit allows you to do.

I had a family dinner on Sunday and I gave in to temptation - I was kicking myself when I weighed in the next day - but I'm right back at it - still working out everyday - I'm going to make my goals!!
