A couple of folks have asked 'what is Castle?'
Castle is a TV series starring Nathan Fillian (whom I had the pleasure of watching take the lead in the series "Firefly" (another wonderful series!))
Since I like Nathan's acting, I watched an episode of Castle on TV (now in season 2 or maybe 3). Liked what I saw, so bought season 1 when I found a good deal on it last week! I do a "Leslie Sansone" workout while watching an episode, giving me an approx 40 min. workout!!!
Which reminds me... I'd better go and log that 2nd cardio on the fitness tracker!!

Yes, already... DH's family Christmas to be exact. This year, for the first time, we celebrated it in a community hall... 44 people (and 1 more on the way) is just too much for someone's home! It was a good day. I know I had more calories than I should have, but I didn't stuff myself to the brim either! The leftover goodies are safely in the freezer now until Christmas day and I'm back on track.
I've been too lax with the strengthening exercises of late... the resistance bands are coming out again tomorrow. I missed cardio on Friday (travelling) and Saturday's cardio was only 10 min. (too busy preparing and hosting a celebration day & night), but I did get 50 min cardio done this morning, before we headed out to the hall!
The cement floors at the hall have done me in... my legs feel like cement now too. I was hoping to do more cardio tonight, but I will rest these legs and start afresh in the morning.
Hope everyone had a super weekend and I wish everyone a great week!!

Short blog today as I'm extra busy! Preparing a big meal which I plan to divide into 3 meals. One is for DH & I, the other 2 meals are going to neighbours whose DH's are struggling with cancer. As well, doing some housecleaning (3 floor house, hoping to do half of it today).
Drinking lots, watching portions, and before I did anything else, I did 2 mile workout with LS!
Happy Monday, everyone! Keep smiling, keep exercising, keep watching your portions! We can DO THIS!!!

Last night, my DH and I arrived at the hotel, checked in and headed back to a restaurant we went to last year (it's an annual conference).
The special I ordered was white fish, with steamed root veggies (beets, parsnips, yams, mushrooms) and ... asiago polenta 'fries' Now I have no idea how healthy these fries were, but they were baked, not fried and they were crispy and delicious. I may have to look for a recipe to try to recreate them at some point.
This morning at breakfast, I met a woman that I got to know several years ago at a reiki share I attended. It's so wonderful to connect with people who 'get' energy - could have chatted for longer, but she was getting ready to leave by the time we got there. Hope to see her again before conference is over!
While DH attends conference, I'm going to do a cardio workout and then head into town to start some Christmas shopping! The more I can get done before our upcoming trip to somewhere warm, the more I can relax when I get there, right? Then it's back to the room for a rest before it's time to 'dress up' for dinner.
Have a beautiful, sunny Thursday everyone!

Coming soon to a planetary theatre near you, one night only:
"Blue Moon" Sunday, November 21, 2010 Don't Miss It!!!
Yes, 'once in a blue moon' is happening this coming Sunday night!
Today has been busy - preparing for a meeting here tomorrow morning, healing work, and visiting my friend (a half hour's drive each way) who is housebound and at the moment, bedridden. A good day though... always great to see my friend and give her some Reiki Drumming! And today she did an oracle card reading too!
Tomorrow, the meeting in the morning; then a dental app't (kind of an emergency to reglue on a crown which fell off last Friday night during supper ... of course, we were eating out... how embarrassing!), and then I have to come home to pack for a 3 day trip with my DH!
BTW, my parents LOVED the recipe binder we gave them for their anniversary! On Wed, I'll be at their home (while DH is at work) and can type any further recipes they might want to add. And then it will be truly done! It was a lot of work, but nice keepsake for them and for their descendants!
Be well, everyone, for ALL IS WELL
