trying to go back to normal

My walk this morning was good I think I needed it
I am trying to go back to a ""normal"" routine it should help with the emptyness that I feel inside
I did not think that him leaving for just 2 short years would be so hard but I feel so empty inside
I know that I have to get it together for his brother but I feel so strange happy then sad I know that it will get easier but boy do I feel off center

Been there done that!!! It will get a little easier as the days pass. Glad that you were smart enough to pick walking, I picked eating and 30 pounds later it still got a little easier. Now I'm trying to get the 30 pounds off. I found that writing down my thoughts helped, later on when you two have a lunch or something let him read what you wrote. this is the last day that I will see me son for 2 years It is a good thing that he has chosen to do He has chosen to searve nmission for the LDS church It will be a great time for him and I will get to be on my own again for a while

i am off for a walk then it is time to wake him up to go to the airport

i am off for a nice long walk to clear my head i can not belive that me son still wants to go go go he does not see that he is almost out of time to get it all ready to go he wants me to just ship it all to him and I do not see that happening like he wants it to in fact I do not see it happening at all

well we are almost there
i take my son to the airport and drop him off Wedensday morning at 6 am all i can do now is wish him well
i will just have to be strong until he is out of site then i can loose it if i need to
thank the lord for good friends who will be there to support me

that is all I can say about what is planned for today I have to get my son ready to go and make sure that he has everything that he needs today so that I can get it tomorrow if he needs anything else.
he has to pack the bags and make sure that they are not too heavy for the airlines to carry (they have a 50 pound limit) then he has to make sure that he has all his books that he needs to take.

it will be worth it in the end I am sure but I know that neither of us wants to pack the bags
