Good Lord, where has this month gone??! I can't believe it's almost over! I am so excited! Getting my brand new pair of skechers this weekend has really helped me put my butt in gear at the gym! I had 1.5 pieces of pizza last night, so the gym is calling my name! :)

Yesterday, I walked a mile at the Y, did the circuit course for the 35 minutes and did the elliptical for another 30 minutes! I burned some SERIOUS calories! I felt great! I grabbed my exercise ball that afternoon, while watching Dr. Oz, and did some crunches. I ate good..., threw away half my lunch, because I was starting to feel full. Didn't want to overeat and feel miserable.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday! I am going back to the gym today, and burning some more calories. I measured myself yesterday, and have lost some inches, so that is my encouragement..., oh and my BRAND NEW SKECHERS I'll be getting! heehee emoticon

Finally, all is back to normal with our school system! The kiddos will be in school all week, without a chance of it getting nasty outside (for at least this week)! Yeah! Working out with my buddy this morning, and then doing some much needed organization at the house. Still not done with that!

This eating right thing has got to be the best thing I've ever done! I got my husband a George Foreman grill (years ago) and I tell you, I have been using the heck out of that thing! Love it! Especially if I am just cooking my own lunch on it! I fixed my girls and I fajitas on that thing last night, and they were awesome! Love to come up with healthy things that I can eat while I am at home by myself during the day. Makes it interesting and challenging all at the same time!

    Thanks, you two! I LOVE that thing! It sat and sat for the longest time, and I use it to make quesadillas, paninis and get the "grilled" flavor of chicken or steak! :) I have no idea why I didn't think to use it before!

This is my "take it easy" day. I look forward to it and and am ready to pass it all in one! Luckily for me, I am not taking it easy on watching what I am eating, because I don't want to "have to" work harder at the gym tomorrow to get it all back off! lol It is getting easier on the weekends, because there are some days when I feel like I struggle with them, but for the most part, I have myself in a good frame of mind!

Ready to get back to the gym tomorrow! I feel so much better after I get that workout in! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, all! emoticon

Taking it somewhat easy...

I feel great! I slept so hard last night, that when I woke up, I was in the same exact position that I was in when I fell asleep! Haha That can make you sore, too, I found out! Did some stretching to cure some of my back woes. Feel better now. We are taking the kiddos and going to the Y today for some indoor swimming. They are so excited. I may sneak away and go play on my favorite piece of equipment, the elliptical. Wouldn't hurt to get one more workout in, before the new week starts tomorrow.

I'm glad I pushed myself, because I have yet lost 1.4 more pounds! Kinda liking this whole exercise, sparking, taking care of myself, thing! :) It's starting to become contagious with me. It's definitely the kind of contagious I like!

Kicked some butt!

I missed going to the gym with my workout buddy this morning, so I thought I would go by myself. I did the elliptical for 50 minutes (I've only been able to do 25, since getting back into this), and hit the 4 mile mark! I was soooo proud of myself! I know I did well, when I step off of the machine and my legs feel like jello! lol

I stretched long and hard after that one! I realize that I will probably be just a tad bit sore tomorrow, but wow, was it well worth it! Not to mention that I didn't have to fight to get a machine, since I went mid-morning! That was so nice!!

Have a wonderful weekend! I can see my brand new Skechers in the near future! :)

    OUTSTANDING! New shoes! Yep, the frustation I have is I get a pair of shoes I really like, then before I know it they begin wearing out. I miss the old ones, but then soon realize the new ones are much better.

    Stretchy Sore is good! I often feel a bit whacked the day after a good workout - lets me know I really exhausted my muscles and have encouraged them to get stronger!
