I kinda had a lapse after March, and put my exercise on hold. But as of June 4th, I started doing a circuit course M, W, and F of every week at the YMCA, and am still going strong! When I joined SP in August of 2008, I was expecting to reach my weight loss goal as of May 2009...that didn't happen! But, when my hubby got laid off in March of Aircraft, and lost almost 22lbs, just from switching jobs, I felt like I needed to keep up pace! He has done so well, and I guess that is what happens when working out in the heat! So, I started my circuit course with a friend, and as of right now, a month after doing the course, my waist went from 41" in Aug 2008, to 36". I am very happy with the results. It's the most I've ever seen! I can fit into a lot of my husband's pants, and I have NEVER been able to do that! I LOVE this course. I am going to keep it up...I am seeing results and that lets me know that it's working, plus it just makes me feel good that I am getting my heartrate up there, to have everything work better.There's also something about taking the kids to the pool and having to put on a bathing suit that is also motivation for me. : ) 5 days a week as soon as school starts for my kiddos...here I come! : ) Good luck everyone!

Wow...! I never thought I would say this, but I actually look forward to working out! I have never felt that way about exercise, but after getting my kids off to school this morning, I did my Biggest Loser Boot Camp DVD, and I loved it. I felt so good after I got finished. I am kinda feeling the soreness effects of working my upper body here at work, but for the most part I feel great. I am very proud of the fact that in December, around Christmas, I started taking my 10 flights of stairs to my 5th floor office that I work in. Yeah, when I started, I thought I was going to die when I hit the 4th floor and was panting so hard, that if I hadn't been the only one in the building, someone would've heard me! But now, I take them with ease, and don't have to stop for a breath on the 4th floor. It's like a whole new me has emerged, and I'm glad that the old one is starting to go away to be refreshed with a happier, healthier me! My cooking has gotten easier, and controlling how much I eat has, too. Finally got my treadmill back from my sis, and am starting to alternate my DVD and walking on it. The weather here is very cold, so I have to have an alternative! I plan on keeping this up! I will hit my goal before I know it! Good Luck everyone!

Well, thank God the holidays are over and I can get back to business! I have lost 17.5 pounds, and I plan on keeping on! I have some major goals to hit! I actually was able to finally fit into a pair of 16 jeans (I wore an 18), and I couldn't believe it!!! I haven't been in a size 16 jeans since 1998!!! My hubby even complimented me on how they fit me good, which what opinion matters more than that!! :) I have really changed the way I look at food, and that's major for me. I try to "find" healthy choices when I look in the fridge and cabinets, instead of what's convenient! I am ready to hit my 20, so I am even more motivated. I've got a ways to go, but I plan on hitting my goal this year. I am looking at around September, which is the healthy and safe way to go. Don't want to get discouraged, or push too hard and lose an unhealthy amount too quickly! I'm well on my way!! Good luck everyone...thanks for visiting my page!
