Hey Lady, did someone help you with your questions? If not, I will try to help you. According to Spark, what is your daily nutritional goal? After I looked at your daily tracker, I didn't see where you had dinner. I think if you add those calorie the count will go up.

As for me I actually learned how to cook during my weight loss phase. I cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in the beginning. Then I started batch cooking once I truly figured what I was doing. I measured and weighted EVERYTHING before I cooked it. That's what worked for me but everyone is different.

I am having trouble with it too. Is there a tech person that we can talk to in order to learn how to use the system better? emoticon

Day 2 on my Spark Journey

Tuesday, January 03, 2012

Wow day two and I have already discovered I do not eat enough calories. I have been following Sparks eating plan and right away I noticed I do not eat enough. The food plan has also put together some great meals I would have not come up with. I do not eat enough healthy fats which has been corrected. I am the mother of a 10 and 6 year old and having someone else to design my correct calorie and portions is great. One day and one change at a time is my theme this year. Until next blog have a blessed day.

One day and one change at a time...this is a great mantra.

I just read an article here on spark and it listed a lot of healthy food to have in your pantry. I use a list identical to this one. I copy it and highlight what I plan to purchase and take it to the grocery store. I hope this helps you. Here's the link http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource

How others see you tells the real story

Sunday, May 03, 2009

I have been working out for a while, but I kept thinking is all this weights and cardio paying off? Well my peers from work have not seen me in 6 months we all work from home they were shocked when I showed up. Sometimes others can judge your new body better than I can. Everyone wanted to know what pill I was taking or what my exercise program consist of? I reminded them the last time you guys saw me I was working at the gym hard. Seems like everyone wants a quick fix there is not one. I watched Oprah and she had past guest who had lost the weight and put the weight back on. I thought to myself this routine has to be a life style change and not a dress size change only. My greatest comment came from my child she said "Mom I am so proud of you I remember when you first started you were so soar and hated working out." She went on to say, "I am so glad you did not give up you have lost so much weight and you look great." I am trying to teach my child that exercise is a must and that anything worth having takes hard work. The pride my child feels towards watching me drop the pounds is better than any number on a scale or sugary food(lol)

Until next blog be blessed,
Andria

How I feel about Exercise now????

Sunday, February 22, 2009

Took me years but I know realize my attitude towards hating exercise started when I was a child. I always loved the arts and hated any type of sports. I know realize how can you hate a sport when you have not been encouraged to try. See now that I am a mother I realize it is not about how well my child plays the sport but the benefits of teamwork, learning something new and most of all the exercise. When I joined Sparks in Jan 09 I had just changed my way of thinking about exercise instead of saying I hate the gym I was going to say I love going. My what a difference a attitude can make. Not only do I feel bad if I do not go but my body does not give up I get right back to it the next day. So to all who are reading this blog take a different attitude towards exercise your body mind and soul will love the change.

Great discovery, isn't it!!! Especially since you weren't eating enough! Who would think eating more would cause you to lose weight :)

Good luck in meeting all your goals
