You are, Lord Jesus, the bright and morning star. You are the reason that I live. You are the One that I adore, that I lean on, cling to, rely on, and trust in. You are everything to me; my life, my breath and my reason for living. You are the One that I look to for the answers to life's questions. There is none above You or beside You. It is through You that all things were created and they are held together by the word of Your power. You are the greatest, most awesome person in my life. You are; simply YOU ARE!
“My Child, you are the object of my affection. You are the reason that I went to Calvary. Yes, I looked down through the ages to when you would be born and I knew you would need a Savior; that you would need a Healer; a Deliverer; One who would rescue you from the kingdom of darkness. It is true that I had you on My mind when I went to that cross. You and the millions of others that have gone before you and that will follow after you. I died that all people might have life. But so many reject Me, Child. They have turned their backs on Me and gone the way of the world around them. They are like sheep without a Shepherd; caught up on the world's pleasures that only last for a season. My heart is grieved over the loss of even one little one. I long for them to come into My sheepfold. They are lost sheep, Child. Who will tell them of My salvation? Will you tell them, child? Will you share the way of salvation with them? Will you spread the good news that I died that they might have life? You are My mouthpiece; You are My example; You are My hands and feet. You are; simply YOU ARE!”
My friend, if you have never received Jesus in your heart, may today be your day of salvation. He died for you that you might be spared from an eternity apart from Him; separated and alone. He died that you might live! Won't you give your heart to Jesus today? If you desire to make Him your Lord and Savior please pray this prayer with me and sincerely mean it in your heart:
Father, I come before You this morning recognizing and acknowledging that I am a sinner; both by birth and by choice. I need You in my life. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for me and was raised from the dead by the Holy Spirit. I believe that He is alive today and sits at Your right hand in heaven. I ask You to forgive me of my sins and I invite Jesus into my heart to be my own personal Lord and Savior. I vow to live every day of my life for You, Lord Jesus! I receive You into my heart and I thank You for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Romans 10:8-10 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

“There is a secret to being content and satisfied in whatever state you are in, Child. It is found as you come to Me seeking the sufficiency that you need to meet the circumstances in your life. The ability to succeed in all things lies in Me and I will infuse you with the sufficiency to meet and exceed all things in your life. I will pour My strength into you as you come and rest in Me. Do not be afraid of what lies ahead of you. Just know that when you need strength I am here to full you up with all that I have. I will not let you go through life with insufficiency. You will have whatever you need to be content.”
“Do not worry about tomorrow for I have already faced your tomorrows and prepared for your sufficiency in them. I see your life from the beginning to the end in one full picture. You only see the past and the present, but I go before you into your tomorrows. I have already made provision for what you have need of. So when you get there just come to Me and I will fill you with the strength to meet the challenge. Do not try to meet life's challenges through your own strength or ability. Come to Me and be strengthened. I will help you conquer all fear, doubt and unbelief that comes against you for you are My child, the apple of My eye. Do not fear what the enemy can do to you. Am I not much bigger than any foe that would come against you? Keep your eyes focused on Me for I am your help in the time of trouble. I will be with you; I will strengthen you and harden you to difficulties so they will have no power over you. You will be like a strong oak tree swaying in the breezes of adversity through My strength and power. You are My child; I have called you by Your name. I will go with you and help you. You will not be overpowered or defeated by life's challenges. I am with you!”
Thank You, Father, for Your strength to help in the time of trouble. You are my stronghold; my high fortress and my deliverer. You are my help in the time of adversity. You are the great I AM; the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. You are more than enough for all that I need. Thank You for going before me into every situation that I encounter. Thank You for making provision for me and for strengthening me for my journey through life. I will not fear because You are my God. You are bigger than anything that I would encounter in this life and You are with me to help me. Thank You, Father, for watching over me; for protecting me from my enemies and for providing for my every need. To You be all the glory, honor and praise! In Jesus' name. Amen.
Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Acts 17:24-28 “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands, “Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things, “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, “so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; “for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'”
Father, I thank You for living within me. Thank You for leading the way each day for me. I pray that You will forgive me for the times I've chosen to go my own way and have ignored Your directions. I know that You created me for Yourself, that You might fill me with Your thoughts and desires so I might fulfill the plan that You have for my life. Please help me to choose Your ways over my own. Thank You for filling me with Your very presence. It's in You that I live and move and have my being. I was made for You to inhabit and I thank You for filling my spirit with Your Spirit. May You be glorified in me today, Lord Jesus!
“My child, My children seek all kinds of things to bring satisfaction and contentment into their lives. And all that is needed for them to be happy is for them to look to My Spirit within them. I live in each one of My believers. I inhabit their innermost being. It is in Me that they find life and that more abundantly. It is not in the things that they possess or the places that they go. They are looking for Me in all the wrong places. You must connect with Me to have the abundant life that I provide. Look unto Me and live fulfilled and satisfied. Look unto the world and continue to long for Me for the world does not offer anything that even remotely resembles Me. You can only have contentment through knowing Me for I am the life-giver. Look unto Me and live. Look unto the world and continue to be hungry!”

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
“You were called to live in My peace, Child. The decision that you make will either bring peace or unrest into your life. Learn to seek Me before making decisions and allow My peace to rule the decision making process. You will know which way to take by the the peace or lack thereof. If you do not feel at peace about a situation do not do it. That's My way of explaining to you that it is not the right direction for you to take. I will give a check or uneasiness within your spirit to indicate what you should do. You must pray and seek My will before making these decisions as I know which way you should go. Allow Me to lead you and I will guide you into peace for I have called you to live in harmony in your relationships; both with Me and with your fellow believers. Allow My peace to rule your heart and you will not experience the heartache that comes with making wrong decisions. Let Me lead you and guide you in the way you should go!”
Father, I thank You for Your peace. I know, Father, that You lead and guide us by peace in our hearts. I pray that I might always follow the way of peace in my heart so I won't get into situations that are not in Your will for my life. Help me to overcome the temptation to make decisions based on my emotions which go against the peace or disharmony that I sense at times when I am not supposed to go a certain direction. You know what is best for me, Father, and I trust you to lead me in the right way. Please forgive me for the times when I have not followed Your peace and made unwise choices that affected the quality of life that I was living. Show me the way that I should take in these times of decision and give me the courage to follow Your peace in each one of them. Thank You, Father. Amen.
Peace – Greek word eirene – Strong's #1515 – menas a state of rest, quietness, and calmness; an absence of strife; tranquility. It generally denotes a perfect well-being.
Have you ever made a decision that you just felt uneasy about within your heart? That's the Spirit of God within you trying to say “don't do that”! There have been times when I have made those decisions and then there have been other times when I followed the lack of peace within and made the right decision. It was at those times of correct decisions that, as I made them, I would feel God's peace sweep over me and a huge load was lifted off my shoulders. If only we would learn to follow that peace all the time then our lives would be much less complicated.
What does it mean when it says “let the peace of God rule”? Well, I think of it as being like an umpire in a baseball game. What He says goes! If he rules that ball as a strike even though the batter didn't flinch when the ball passed by him, it is a strike! The players are lead by the umpire's decision. That's how God wants us to live; ruled by His peace. We are called to live in peace. When our emotions are involved we will not always have peace in our hearts because we are pulled one direction or another by how we feel. I am learning that I cannot trust my emotions all the time. But if I allow peace or the lack of it to direct me then I will experience a peaceful lifestyle.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Oh Father, I come before Your throne this morning to hear Your voice, to spend time with You; to come to know You more. You are my God. There is none beside You. It is from You that I receive the words of life. I yield to You this morning. Have Your way in me today. Calm my anxious soul and speak hope and direction to my heart. For You are the One that I praise!
“Do not let your heart be troubled, Child. Look unto Me for I am your hope of salvation. There is no other way but Mine. Seek Me with all your heart and you will find Me. I am near; closer than a brother. I am within you. Follow and I will lead you. Do not look to the right or to the left. Look only unto Me. You are My child and I will lead you by My Spirit within. Lean not on your own understanding, but trust in Me. I know all things that will transpire in your life. I know the road ahead of you and what obstacles you will encounter. Your best interest is in My heart. I will not leave you to walk that road alone. Lean on Me, for I am your strength and salvation. Trust My judgment for I know what is best for you.”
One of the hardest lessons for me in life has been learning to lean on the Lord and not on my own understanding. I was taught to be self-sufficient. If something was to get done it would be my responsibility to see that it is done. My life has been one that required hard work and diligence on my part in order to provide for myself and my children. So, it seems that at times I try to continue directing my own course, looking for my own thoughts and working under my own power and ability. Many times God has had to remind me of who is in control in my life. It's Him, not me. I get my orders from my Commander in Chief. He is the Great Shepherd of my soul and it's in Him that I trust!
