So I haven't posted in awhile. I also have re-done week 4 of that challenge multiple times because I either couldn't do enough or I forgot
Been working out more the past few weeks and trying not to eat as much but still some snacking with all the holiday get togethers. I have been maintaining though, so that is better than nothing.
Today my daughter wanted to work out as home work for PE so we did a 15 min walk at home video (courtesy of ondemand with Comast) and some strength. Then after the kiddos went to bed, did the 15 min video again to make it 30 min of cardio and a few more strength exercises. It was about 25 min of strength overall.
Will weigh in tomorrow; hoping the scale will have moved down a little. I was good and got 10+ cups of water today, which is almost unheard of for me so hopefully no water weight throwing off the scale tomorrow.

Monday, alas, I didn't get a walk in as I had to go to the doctor, unless you count the 45 minutes or so I spent wandering around the nearby store waiting for test results:(
This morning I successfully got up and got a short workout in before work since I didn't workout at all Monday night. I did 15 min walking workout ondemand. This might not seem like much but when you consider the fact that I almost never get up early to workout, despite setting two alarms, that's pretty impressive (let's just say I am not a morning person). I also did the 100 pushup challenge initial test again and will be repeating week 4 of the challenge. Hopefully next time I will progress to week 5.
I also had to go to the doctor again this afternoon for a follow up appointment and my supervisor said not to worry about coming back afterwards because it was going to be so late. While there, they weighed me and I was glad to see that I was a little lighter than the last time I went, though I wish it was more (I have lost and regained 3-4 pounds several times since I went in the summer and found out I was prediabetic so I am hoping I don't regain it this time and the scale keeps going down). Since I didn't have to go back to work, I was able to walk to the rec center and did 35 minutes on the bicycle before picking up the kids. I also successfully tracked calories today and stayed within my target, despite getting take out for one of the meals (veggie burger and a partial order of those new satisfries from Burger King). I also got more than 8 cups of water for once:)
Overall, today was a pretty good day in terms of diet and exercise.

Week 4 of the 100 pushup challenge is now finished. Tomorrow - BEFORE I do any other weights, etc. - I need to redo the initial test to see if I should repeat week 4 or not.
On Friday, I went to the gym. I felt self conscious doing the modified pushups at the gym so I warmed up and did weights first and then the pushups. Overall I probably spent 40 minutes on strength and then 20 minutes on the elliptical (warm up and cool down) plus the walk to and from the school (the rec center is en route; we went on the way back from taking the kiddo to school). I think next time I should just do the pushups at home (which I had forgotten) since I don't like doing them at the gym. Plus, by the time I did the pushups, my arms were already fairly fatigued from the weights (duh).
Saturday was a rest day and Sunday I went to the gym. It was fairly crowded and I did about 5 min on the elliptical, 5 min on the stair stepper and 30 min on the recumbent bike. I also walked to and from the gym. That afternoon we wandered around the pumpkin patch and Sunday evening was bellydancing practice. I am guestimating it was about 30 minutes; hard to say as we stop al lot but it was more dancing then the previous practice.
I don't know about the gym tonight but I might go and do the bike. If not, I will at least take the dog for a walk. I keep not meeting goals that are monthly so I have a short term goal to lose 1 lb this week. Maybe that will make it easier to remember to log in food, etc.

Today and tomorrow are my husbands day off! It is nice! We walked our daughter to school and back, about 20 minutes. Then we walked to and from the rec center, which is about 12-15 minutes. At the rec center I did 65 minutes on the elliptical and 13 minutes on the bike (waiting for my husband to finish weights and cool down). Plus I walked to and from the rec center again to pick up the kids. So overall, almost two hours or cardio in. Which is good, because I just added up my calories and I went over my goal, though I am still had less calories than the amount to maintain my weight. I also have drank more than 8 cups of water today:)
Tomorrow's plan is to track my calories sooner and we are walking our daughter to school again then will go to the gym first thing in the morning again. Tomorrow are the pushups for the 100 pushup challenges, weights, and cardio to warm up and cool down.

I completed the first workout for the week last night. Alas, I still cannot due a regular pushup though my arms were a little sore from working out the night before so maybe that is it. Depending on how I test at the end of this week (endurance week), I might have to repeat week 4 (per the challenge instructions) before going to week 5.
I also did other strength last night with the pushups (while watching Biggest Loser), which I alternated to keep my heart rate up. The other exercises included bicep curls, squats, bridges, back extensions, bicycle crunches, and calf raises.
I was also extremely good tracking food yesterday and was under my maximum target calories, instead of always being over some amount.
