A gloomy day here but wish that it was sunny

Looks like it's going to be a gloomy day all day today. It was a beautiful morning this morning but it's clouded up when I took Lady for a 3rd walk. I thought that it might rain before we got home but it didn't. I might have to do the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs just to get in a walk. If we go somewhere when I can walk, I will take that chance of getting a walk in.

My eye is feeling a lot better. There is a bit of a swelling but it's hardly noticeable. Even when touching it. Every once in a while when I rub my eye too hard it is sore but not to the point where the pain lasts.

Finally, I got the final doggie coat done

I got the last of the doggie coats done. I made 3 of them and I got the last of them done a while ago. I have it tumbling in the dryer after getting it washed. It's cute and I need to trim the extra yarn off of it and get a photo of Lady in it before dad and I leave the house again. The photo is of the first one that I made for her and finished that one 2 weeks ago. It takes me about a week to do 1 of those coats. A friend of mine wants me to make her one for her dachshund Brindle. BTW, that's my dad in the background.

My eye is feeling much better. The outside corner of the lid still hurts but not as bad as it was before. I haven't looked at it in a while but I will when I go back into the bathroom again. The swelling really went down long before I went to bed last night and it was down a little more after I got up this morning. It maybe gone by tomorrow morning before I get up. It's not the greatest to walk outside with it in the mornings when the air is cold and the sun is in your eyes. It hurts but it wasn't so bad this morning when I took Lady for a walk.

I got more time to lose weight and look for a dress

Well, I got more time to lose weight and find a dress for my brother Michael's wedding. They moved the wedding to later on in 2009 anywhere between July and September. So I have PLENTY of time to lose all the weight that I want to lose and find a dress that is in the color that Michae's fiance Danielle wants us to wear. In plum or almost plum. God, I hate that color. I don't look good in anything in the purple family. I look better in pink. And the color of the wedding is in candy apple red and white. The plum is going to clash with the red.

I'm stuck on a plateau again but this time at 9 pounds. I should be able to get more weight off before too long. I know that I can. Just have to take my time and do more to get it off.

I walked Lady 6 times yesterday for 10 minutes each. I didn't want to go for long walks. I didn't feel like going on one and I wanted to be near home just in case my dad needed me since he's been getting a lot of tests done on his heart. He's got another echo to do this coming Friday but this one is down his throat so they can see the other side of his heart. I hope that they don't have to go in and do anything and they can do it with medicine. They're not going to worry about the one that is 95% blocked since they worked on that one 12 years ago this coming Friday and they're going to worry about the one that is 50 to 60% blocked. The reason why that they're not going to worry about the one the one that is 95% blocked because it's making it's own bypass.

Plum (or almost plum) and Candy Apple Red? Just keep telling yourself, it's their wedding! You'll break through that plateau before you know it. And you'll be the best looking one at the wedding. Just try not to overshadow the bride too much, OK? Report Inappropriate Comment

Day is starting to feel long and boring

Got to figure out what to do to pass some time around here. I could take Lady for a long walk but she already had a walk after we came home from getting lunch. I'm not ready for another walk right now. I could knit some more on the last doggie coat that I'm on but I'm not sure yet. I could wash dishes but there isn't much to do a load of them. Might do some laundry since most of my long pants are in there and I know that I will be needing them this week with the way the weather is going to be.

My eye is starting to feel a bit better. Still sore and most of the swelling is down. It was bad walking Lady this morning before my dad got up with this stupid stye. All that cold air hitting was making it want to go close. I should be better by the time Monday comes I hope.

The photo I have on here is of my cat Tigger and my brother Michael. His wedding is coming up in April and I'm hoping to get a lot of this weight off before that. He lives in Ohio and has a fiance who is a lot younger than me. About 4 years younger than me.

Putting up with a stye on my right eye

Yeah, I'm putting up with a stye on my eye. First time in over 10 years since the last one and it's not as bad as it was last night but still miserable. Just wish that I didn't have it. I always make sure that I get rid of loose lashes everyday but somehow there was one that got infected but I'm taking care of it. I'm going to put a warm compress on it later on today to help with getting rid of it.

I am at a plateau with my weight. I haven't lost any weight since I last entered my weight but I always will get over it. I'm hoping to get some more weight loss soon. I'm going to try some things today to get aid in doing that. So cross your fingers and hopefully I can get rid of a lot of them.

The photo that I have put up is kind of a reminder to me. This is suppose to be a replica of the car from the Andy Griffith Show and one of the characters reminds me of my grandfather (my mom's dad). Barney Fife. He kind of looks like him.
