too cold

9:21am

Another headache and no chocolate in the house. Not even hot chocolate. If we go to Galesburg today, we better get some more hot chocolate and some other form of chocolate for this occasion. But I did take something for it.

I have both pets with me in dad's recliner. Tigger is on my left side and Lady at my feet. And both are asleep. Lady had her butt in Tigger's face and passed gas. But it didn't bother Tigger but it did me. Lady does that a lot because of the large breeds in her. She's dachshund/terrier/Boxer/American Bull dog mix. Her dad was the dachshund/terrier and mom was Boxer/American Bull dog. And one of 12. Tomorrow Lady will be 21 1/2 months old. Tigger will be 9 in May. Lady's birthday is easy to remember because it's on Income Tax day. April 15th. Both are my kids.

My oldest brother and his family's cat George has been home for over a month but his health is kind of bad. There werew a few times they thought that they were going to lose him. He's looking good but he's on a feeding tube. But yesterday he drank a little bit of water and ate one piece of food.

It is really cold outside. I just had to take Lady out and I about froze. Especially the wind. It's going to be in the teens today. That's cold.

I'm hoing that dad gets up soon. He is usually up at this time. Even if we don't have to be anywhere. Let's hope that he gets up soon. I'm bored.

My headache is almost gone. Just the worse part of it is gone. Going outside with Lady didn't help any.

I need to do a few things this morning but most of them have to wait until dad gets up. I need to vacuum the house and wash the bedding on dad's bed. I'm not going to do those two things when dad's in bed. I could do some things while I'm waiting for him to get up. One is my budget. I have to get that started.

Tigger has been spending a lot of time on the couch. Right now he's using part of a pillow as a pillow. I haven't seen him use the couch this much in a long time. Not since he was a kitten.

7:36pm

We went to Galesburg today because dad wanted to see if the pharmacy at Target had one of his medicines ready. It wasn't. So we might go up tomorrow.

We got some hot chocolate today while we were at Target. I'm glad that we did because I need it just in case of a headache.

It got as far as 12 degrees today. I'm not sure how it is going to be tomorrow. I'm hoping that it is warmer than it was today.

I was trying to figure out what made me become an Avon Representative. I've been trying to figure that out. If it was meeting new people, getting to know the people that I do know better, or what. I can't put my finger on it. I wish that I could.

9:10pm

I'm really tired and cannot wait to go to bed. It was a long day and I'm hoping that tomorrow isn't as bad as it was today.

Dad is going to bed even though he got up about 10 hours ago. i don't know how he can be so tired. I've been up for over 16 hours and I'm really tired.

I'm hoping for some more Avon orders tomorrow. I need plenty of them. Need to go to our friend's house (where we were yesterday) to see what kind of aftershave her husband uses. Forgot to ask her before we left yesterday.

It is cold here too - 5 degrees this morning! My dogs are loving it...call them crazy! I have a niece and her daughter that were both born on April 15th. My great niece's father's b-day is the 16th and they were hoping she would have been born on the 14th...14th-15th-16th. Guess she wanted to wait to be a b-day present to her mom! I sold pet supplies, gift, etc through a home pet party company. I didn't do very well because of the economy, but it was fun while it lasted. I wanted to do something with animals and this was the best thing I could find at the time. Hope you have better success with Avon! Report Inappropriate Comment

Today would of been my late mom's 59th birthday. A friend of ours has a birthday today too. We have a card and a gift (from Avon) for her. We'll go over later on today. Happy Birthday, Mom!!

It's going to be warmer than we thought it was going to be. It's going to be 28 degrees. I wish that it would hurry up and warm up.

I had a headache this morning when I got up. I slept on the wrong side and the weather is the cause of it and I took something for it before I ate my breakfast. I should of took something last night for my left ankle because if I moved it in bed, it would hurt. It felt better by th time I got up.

I'm about ready to fall asleep in dad's recliner. I'm that tired. I might after writing in here.

I feel sorry for the Kerrigan family with a death of a father and a brother in a mental hospital for tests. I know how Nancy feels with losing a parent even thugh she lost her parent in a different way than I did. Mr Kerrigan is out of pain and God will take care of him until the rest of the family is with him.

I never fell asleep in dad's recliner. I might fall sleep in the truck on the way to Galesburg. I always do anyway. Plus it's going to be a busy day.

I'm hoping my new bill is in the mail from Avon so I can pay them off so I can get my next order when I put it in next week.

My new bill from Avon didn't come today. It should be tomorrow since they emailed me about the order today of the nail polish.

I got another order from GRANNYFRANNY. So, GRANNYFRANNY, thanks for your order. I hope that you get everything that you ordered.

We went to Galesburg today. Dad had a few bills to pay there. Plus we got gas and went to Target. Dad wanted his coffee and check how many refills on one of his medicines. Plus we saw some friends and a cousin of mine (dad's grand niece).

I got my brochures for the next campaign. For 10 brochures I got, I paid $2.00 for them. If I went through Avon, it woudld of cost me $5.00 for the same amount of brochures in the package.

Well, it's getting close to bedtime and I'm glad. I'm starting to get tired.

I hope that I get the order that I called for tomorrow so I can pay my bill. That and my checks. I have temporary ones until I get my actual checks.

It got as far as 25 degrees today. Tomorrow it's going to be colder. At least 10 degrees colder. We usually have the January Thaw by now. I think that we had that over the weekend.

The sun is out and the wind isn't as bad as it was when I got up. That's a plus. We're in a winter weather advisory until 9am. We may have a safe drive to Galesburg today.

Just saw a spider a moment ago. It was climbing a strand of its web. Gross. At least the webs around here aren't as bad at my oldest brother's house.

We went to Galesburg today and the drive was good. No wind and clear roads. And we're going up tomorrow to pay some bills.

I've been cold all day long. Especially tonight when we ate supper. I don't know why. I was dressed to where I could keep warm. But I was cold.

This season of The Biggest Loser is starting to sound like last season with Tracey. The gal on the red team is starting to sound like Tracey. A real bitch and not losing weight like she should. Until tonight when she lost 11lbs.

I'm tired tonight and I have over an hour before I go to bed. I really feel it this early.

I hope that anyone who needs Avon products and get them from the current campaign from me, do it before 2-3-10 at noon CST. You should get them by tha Friday. After falling asleep in dad's recliner this morning, I ended up with a nasty headache. I would get rid of it and once I was outside, I would get another one. I had to email the gal who got me started on Avon because of the headache. I had a question for her.

Well, what I owe Avon went down thanks to GRANNYFRANNY. I was going to pay Avon almost $114.00 but it went down to almost $103.00. And I'll have around $70.00 to spend on myself. At least its something.

The weather was nasty today. The wind was the main reason for it. It was blowing the fresh snow. We saw a couple of vehicles in the ditch.

Dad saw his cardiologist today. The doctor is putting him on another beta blocker and is thinking of lowering the dosage that he's taking of a couple of his meds. But that part (the dosage) won't happen until March.

Today I wasn't as sleepy as I was yesterday. Especially about now. I'm starting to gget tired but not to where I want to fall asleep at the computer. That nap this morning must of helped even though I ended up with a headache.

I got to chat with my youngest niece Heather for a while. I don't get to that much since she's busy. I'm going to see if I can chat with her mom here in a bit.

I'm glad that it's getting closer for me to go to bed. After a hectic day like today I need to relax. And going to bed is the best place to relax. I'm starting to get a mild headache and sleep will help. It's too soon to take anything for it. It's been about 3 hours since I did that.

Before too long, Lady might try to get dad to go to bed. She's tried doing that to me after dad's gone to bed.

I'm thinking of getting something special for dad after I get a little more money. Like over $300.00. I want to be sure that I have enough money to get something nice for him. I have time to think about that.

Well, I tried to chat with my sister-in-law but she didn't answer back. She must be busy with something else. Like with one of the cats who isn't doing great.

The wind is really sounding nasty outside. I hoping that it doesn't get too bad to where it knocks out the power. It's suppose to be in the teens tonight and it'll be cold in this house. Let's hope we don't have to put with this tomorrow when we have to go back up to Galesburg.

a sleepy type of day

Dad's been up for over an hour now and he's almost to where he can get dressed, eat breakfast, do his breathing treatment, and to go to church. At least I don't have to walk or find someone to take me to church.

The snow is almost gone but out in the front yard has standing water in it from all the rain we got last night. I never noticed if it was foggy or not. I will find out when we leave for church. Plus this weather is giving me a headache. What I need t otake for the headache is in another room. I will take something for it before we go to church.

I'm hoping to get more Avon orders today. Maybe to some who go to church with me.

I got 1 Avon order today but its not from the current campaign. A friend of ours who goes to the same church as we do ordered a casserole carrier from me. It was in the last campaign brochure.I did give the one gal at the restaraunt (the waitress I hate) her order today. She ordered 2 bottles of the Skin So Soft Bath Oil. The were on sale for buy one get one free. The bottles are $16.00. This campaign they're $8.00 a bottle.

We never left town today. We came home after church and lunch. Dad spent most of his time taking a nap in his recliner. I did a couple of training videos on Avon. I might do one before we go and get supper. Right now dad is watch Barrett Jackson car auction on Speed Channel.

I'm tired. This weathe is making me sleepy. I can't wait to go to bed. At least I can get some sleep. I had enough of it last night.

We finally left town even though it was for supper. But I didn't do a training video. I'm too tired to do one.

They had a special on PBS that I wish that I knew was on. It was on bald eagles and I love them. I would of taped the show if I knew that it was on.

My mom popped into my mind today. It was when we were in Bushnell eating supper. I happen to mention the Skin So Soft Bath Oil and she popped into my head. Plus dad mentioned her to a couple we were sitting with. It was the time when dad was stationed in England and Germany when he was in the Air Force.

Lady is trying to get dad to take her out one more time and go to bed. That's what he's doing now is taking her out.

I'm glad that I didn't do my exercises today. The time that I would of done them I was tired and I really didn't want to do anything.

My computer is acting up right now with me being online. It is being slow. Too slow. I can fall asleep while it's making up its mind. I'm going to restart the computer to see if it will help any. I hope.

I'm hoping that Avon sends me the nail polish that I called about Friday. The person I talked to said tomorrow it will be shipped tomorrow. Let's hope that they do. I'm not sure if its my fault or their fault that I didn't get it. Plus I'm going to see when Ican get the books for the current campaign from the gal that I dealt with because I know that I'll be having to use waht I got soon.
