We're suppose to get a lot of rain today. But that isn't going to bother me. I'm going to work out in the house today. I'm going to do the Walk Away The Pounds 3 mile walk and the 30 Day Shred. Tried doing Level 3 of the 30 Day Shred yesterday morning but I couldn't do one of the strength training moves when your on your stomach. I just ate breakfast about 2 hours before that and I just couldn't handle it with food still in my stomach.
Yesterday we got one of those Topsy Turvy tomato planters to try out. Got it for $10.00 less than getting it through the mail. We got the soil and tomato plant (the tomatoes are called Best Boy) and it's all planted. I'm going to take photos of it throughout the season and will post them when I get them put onto the computer.
Dad is doing great in cardiac rehab. He's up to 9 minutes on the treadmills and bikes. This past week they put him on the ellipcal and rowing machine for 2 minutes each. But he does those once but the treadmills and bikes two times each. Instead of being their for an hour doing those exercises, he's there for an hour and 20 minutes. I'm not sure on what they're going to do this week. They may increase his times on everything. Doing all those exercises makes him tired but I think that it's a good tired because I believe that it's helping him with his sleep at night.
