No GMOs for the pets, either

Friday, September 28, 2012

Realizing that although I won't make my dogs vegan, I still want to protect them from GMOs, so I switched them to a "no grains, corn, or soy" dog food. This will at least minimize their exposure.

GMO must GO!

Sunday, September 23, 2012

I was browsing topics on the Vegan Team pages and ran into one about legislation that favors GMO & favors hiding the fact that foods are genetically engineered (even some organics). I checked out the site and found that if we keep the pressure up for about one more week, some good may come of it. The "take action" url is: www.anh-usa.org/dangerous-pro-gmo-am
endments/

It's entitled Dangerous Pro-GMO Amendments May Be On Their Last Legs—If We Act Now!

I'm with you. I belong to the Organic Consumers Association and receive their email newsletters. They have great info about Monsanto, whom I call the AntiChrist.

I agree. We have the right to be informed.

Labeling should show whether food is GMO. Consumers should be allowed to make informed choices.

Yoo Hoo!! I love that you are doing it. I will check out their website & give it a shot too. I've been thinking a lot about this since I saw one of Jon Gabriel's videos where he mentions "dead food", refers to a prior love of bread and now views it as inedible cardboard. Wow - strong words, but my views are changing & I'm leaning that direction a bit now as well.
