Since I started Weight Watchers. I can definitely see a change in how I'm eating. I still have my binging moments but I've been getting much better at it. Since my last WW weigh in I have lost 3 lbs! WOOT WOOT! When I eat I get full easily and I'm listening to my hunger cues more. I actually STOP eating and dont continue to shove food in my face. I snack on fruits and veggies as often as I can and I don't over indulge with sweets. I made a really yummy dinner tonight...stuffed shells... i used ground meat instead of chicken though...didn't have any chicken lol
Since starting Weight Watchers I have lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks!! I hope to lose at least 0.5 -1 lb a week. If I stay consistent enough I should be able to get to my goal weight by the end of January so I think I should just say that by my 26th birthday (Feb 10, 2013) I would like to be at my goal weight of 145 lbs. Then from that point on I will have to continue to be consistent and maintain my weight for my wedding on October 12, 2013 and hopefully by then I will finally be able to maintain my healthy lifestyle change.
I absolutely hate grocery shopping and ever since I've joined WW it seems like I've been going every few days. I'm usually going just to get more fresh fruits and veggies but I still hate it lol I know I have to do it though so looks like I just gotta suck it up and deal with it. I saw a lasagna zuchini I want to try and make so I need to get all the ingredients for that. I have to go on Pinterest and find some recipes (which there are plenty of) and then write down all the ingredients needed and get them at the store so I can actually make the food. I had my tuna peppers again for dinner last night....soooo good :]
Today starts the day of a challenge I'mdoing on facebook with Tasha's (TASHISNOQUIITER) coworkers. The girl that put the challenge together is a representative for Beach Body (Turbo Jam, Insanity, P90x, the shakes, etc) and she put this 30 day challenge together. I remember doing a FB challenge like this before and I actually lost 5 lbs within that 30 days so I figured what better way to try and get me back into my work out routine. I really need to make my work out calendar for the month so I'll do that this evening or tomorrow morning. So maybe if I keep up with my eating and work out I'll actually start to lose more and tone up!!
This Wednesday I hope to go to a possible venue site with my best friends (the bridesmaids) so cross your fingers for me!! My friend from work is getting married the end of August and she told me to swing my her venue the week of her wedding because its a privately owned area and they dont advertise it. I've seen pictures and it's beautiful there. I'll just have to see if it's cheaper cause I'd have to rent the table and chairs for that place. I really want to try on wedding dresses too so we'll see when I actually want to go do that.
School is about to start back up!! My daughter starts 3rd grade in 2 weeks (so hard to believe) and then I start school back up in 3 weeks. I'm so NOT ready to go back but the classes I'm taking aren't as hard core as my nursing classes. I'll get a little break but not much. And then hopefully January 2013 I'll be back in the nursing program and finish up my last semester of nursing school AGAIN and FINALLY graduate and get my big girl job.

Today was my first weigh in and I'm down 5.4 lbs! The bestie is down 7!! WOOT WOOT!! GO US GO!! I did do good eating wise this week besides yesterday. My soon to be father in law had a company picnic...I actually ate good there. I just kept eating watermelon lol. But then we had a family picnic pool party and thats where I went down hill. I was doing good until I saw all of the desserts and I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I wanted to go back for seconds but I was at that satisfied point and I was like, "No, Ashley, you're satisified. You don't need to eat anymore, you had your share. Member you're trying to lose weight." So, I made myself drink water...lots of it lol After the party I made myself go for a walk though. I need to get back into running and Zumba. I need to look up some WW receipes to switch my meals up before I start getting bored with the same stuff. Hope everyone has a great week :]
I learned very quickly that planning meals ahead of time is going to help me out a lot with my success in losing weight. I knew this before but I guess it didn't sink in as much as it has now since I joined Weight Watchers. When I didn't have a meal plan I kinda freaked and I was worried about my points. So to avoid me from freaking out, I have been preparing meals as far in advance as I can. Just gotta stay consistent with my system!!
