I finished week 2 of C25k. It wasn't so bad. I'm actually looking forward to week 3 this week cause it mixes up the intervals a little bit. I still have shin splints when I run :P Any suggestions to get rid of them?! Now that I think about it I should probably get some new running shoes... that might help since mine are 2 years old lol
Also, this week I plan to start the 28 Day Bootcamp Challenge. I was trying to look for at home strength training exercises to do and it took me to the Challenge so I said, "Oh, what the heck. Try it out cause you gotta get that scale to move." lol Hopefully it works out for me :] My boyfriend and I have actually been talking about getting the PS3 Move so I can get Zumba and other workout videos. I've heard so much about the Xbox Kinect but not about the Move. Anybody have the Move and comments??

I have so many events coming up within the next year that should be motivating me to get this weight off!! So I figured I should write it all out to keep reminding myself why I want to lose this weight and get tone...
I have a total of 3 weddings to go to this summer. The first one being in two weeks!! I went dress shopping the other day and I totally got bummed out because every single dress I liked wasn't in my size. I ended up ordering a dress online from Target BUT I have no idea what itll look like on me so we will see. This motivates me!!!!
My cousins and their girls are coming to visit the beginning of August. We've been trying to get pictures taken of all us for FOREVER! The reason it is such a big deal is because they are from my moms side of the family and our families are the only ones in the states, the others are in Korea. I'd like to take these pictures and not have to hide behind the kids to cover up my fatness! This motivates me!!!!
My 25th Birthday is in Feb 2012. I would so love to be at my goal weight, be tone, and keep maintaining. This motivates me!!!!
Graduating from Nursing School
I'm expected to graduate from Nursing school around the end of April/ beginning of May 2012. I want to look good when pictures are being taken! I don't want to look at my pictures and be like "OMG! I look awful!" I want to actually look at a picture and feel good about how I look! This motivates me!!!!

June 2012 my best friend is getting married there. I want to look AMAZING!! Now, I know I won't be rocking a two piece but I would like to look HOTT in my bathing suit and not cover up with my towel. This motivates me!!!!
It's only 15 pounds so there should be no excuse! I CAN DO IT!!!!
Today was the most perfect day to go for a run! I wish it was like this everyday...if only lol. I'm not a beginner at running but I could tell a difference today when I was running. For week one, you alternate from jogging for 60 sec and walking for 90 sec for a total of 20 minutes. Today, I noticed I would go over a little on my jogging for a minute and I didn't get out of breathe. The only bad thing is my dang shin splints! They need to go away lol. It would be awesome to be able to run a 5k in under 30 mins. I've actually been thinking about signing up for the Air Force 5k. I need to look up more details. I can't wait to see the end results!

June is here and it is HOTTTTTT! I'm not going to complain about it being hot because i was wanting it for so long lol. I'm ready to kick butt this month! I have a wedding at the end of the month and I want to look GOOD in my dress! I CAN DO IT!!!!
Time for goals:
Workouts- already made my workout calendar :]
-Start Couch to 5k. I really want to improve on my running and get my run time down for when I take my military fitness tests. I also feel stronger when I run.
-Do 30 Day Shred after work. I work 12 hour shifts so doing a 20 minute workout after work should be doable!
-Go to as many Zumba classes as I can
-Look up some home strength traning exercises
-Write in my friggin food journal! Idk why I hate doing this lol
-Pack lunch for work the night before...no more buying food at work!
-Only eat out 2-3 x a week...I've been eating too many whoppers!! And I wonder why the scale doesn't move?
-Stop thinking that since I worked out I can shove whatever I want in my mouth!
-Educate myself on portions! Get a food scale
-WATER! WATER! WATER!
I will get all this under control and make that scale move! I WILL DO IT!! NO EXCUSES!!!!
I FINALLY PASSED MY MILITARY FITNESS TEST with the new standards! I am so relieved and it feels like so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't have to test again until November 2011. But I will still be keeping active and trying to lose weight so I won't have to stress about it when the time comes around for me to test. I really just need to get some inches off my waist and keep it off!

I've been doing so-so on my eating. I've been trying to look up new recipes to try out but as soon as I see an ingredient I don't know I pass on it cause I am not the greatest cook in the world lol. The receipes have to be super easy for me and have ingredients I actually know. haha. I've been having no problem what so ever with drinking water. I feel like I'm always carrying around my water bottle.
The scale really hasn't been my friend lately. I still bounce between 160-162. I want to get out of the friggin 160s! I'm tired of seeing a 6 in the hundreths place! And I feel like I've been working out and eating better than I have this whole entire weight loss journey and the scale isn't budging. It's getting frustrating but I'm trying to stay positive about it and just keep up with my workouts and eating habits. I WILL make that scale move!!!!
