I have to admit that this week was pretty rough for me. I worked out a little more than usual but I definitely did not watch my calorie intake as well. I didn't lose any weight this week and that's ok with me because I know I slacked and I know that there are some weeks where you don't lose weight BUT im losing inches somewhere. lol. I really don't know why this week was so hard for me to fight my cravings. I think it's because I had a lot more down time at my work because I'm doing my military work for 2 weeks and it's not as crazy busy as my civilian job. so there will be times where I'm just sitting there wanting to shove my face with food and I really don't have much to occupy me! So, I'm starting fresh and making sure week 3 goes better for me :]

I have made a goal!! After losing 10 lbs I am going to be me some new running shoes :]

    I'm glad you're not letting yourself get down over not losing this week. You didn't gain, so it couldn't have been too bad! It's small steps toward a BIG lifestyle change. So bravo on picking up the exercise this week, you can work on incorporating some better nutrition habits this week! You're on your way to something great. Keep it up!
When you decide to go for the running shoes, go to a specialty running store. They analyze your gait and recommend shoes for you! I got my newest pair from a store like this and it was SO worth the bit of a markup to have shoes that really work for me. You don't want blisters or shoes that are too tight to stand in your way of any running success!

    It is best not to beat yourself up over not doing so well. Do not look back. Look ahead to tomorrow. Take it one step, one day at a time! It is a learning experience.

WEEK 1 on SP!

I'm so proud that I lost 2 pounds! I def wouldn't have been able to do it without the motivation I get from everyone, espeically my best friend. There were days where I would cave and let my sweet tooth cravings take over me. One time I actually felt bad for eating a funnel cake that I threw almost more than half away. Everytime I get a sweet craving I try to drink water but sometimes it just doesn't cut it.

For my fitness, I've actually gotten up to running for 15 mins straight. I usually don't do that unless I'm getting timed for my fitness test in the Air Force. lol. But I've realized that I need to start covering up where the time is on the treamill and I'll end up doing a lot better.

Well, hopefully next week's weigh in is just as good as this week's. Hope everyone is reaching their goals!!

    Congrats! It feels amazing to see the scale go down and know that because of your actions, you were able to make it happen. It's easier to get in your recommended amount of water if you just drink it all the time...I know it sounds weird, but I drink a ton more if I make sure I always have water around me. Those nasty sweet cravings happen all the time. Once in a while you will give in to them, but the key is to not beat yourself up and just make a better decision next time. Oh and the treadmill thing, I have the same problem. I started reading magazines and stuff just so I don't see the time. It helps. Good luck on your next weigh-in!

My best friend convinved me to sign up on this site! After looking at people's pages and my best friend's success, I've decided to give it a go! Everyone on this site has given me more motivation on losing weight than ever before! I'm ready to love my weight/body image again!
