May Has Ended, Now it's Time for June

Well, the first part of May I was stuck with the scale not moving. Then things got chaotic and we finally moved but I still somehow managed to lose...only a little bit... the last two weeks of May without working out and not eating the greatest. So, I can only imagine how much more I could've lost if I stayed on track. I also started having trouble sleeping so my schedule has been completely off wack and there's many days where I am completely exhausted and then sleep till the very last minute and then of course eat like crap.


We finally moved into our house on May 14!!


I bought this dress a month ago and the side zipper wouldn't zip but I decided to buy it anyway. I was determined to get it to zip it! A month later I tried it on and I got it to zip!!


And here's the kicker... on June 5, I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant!!!! My due date is Jan 22, 2015. If we are friends on Facebook, PLEASE!!!!! DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ON THERE ABOUT IT!!!! Thank you. I've been very sick to my stomach so I try to eat smaller meals. And I'm thinking the trouble sleeping has something to do with being pregnant because I never had this problem.

So here's my plan for June:

- Use SparkApp to count calories
- Look up fitness routines for the first trimester
- Eat more fruits/veggies!!!!
- Start going on evening walks :]

It's Gonna Be MAY!!!!

I saw this on FB and thought it was hilarious so I had to share :]

But May is here so now it's time to make a plan!! I lost a total of 3 lbs in April... emoticon Only 2 more pounds to get to my 5 lb loss mark and 17 more pounds to get to my goal weight!! emoticon

We didn't get to close on our house yesterday so now we're just waiting. The fridge is empty and only has leftovers. I've been debating on how much I need to buy at the grocery because I don't want to over do it and then have a whole bunch of food left over to haul when we move.

Plan for May

emoticon Lose 1lb a week

emoticon Count Calories using SparkApp

emoticon Finish C25K by May 24 & Look for a 5k to participate in

emoticon ST & Abs - 3x a week

emoticon Eat 5 veggies/fruits a day - I've noticed I've been slacking with eating my fruits and veggies so I need to work on that

    OMG GIRL!! I saw this on FB too and just about died, because when you read it, you just have to sing it in your head exactly like it. So I showed it to my older sister and she didn't have a clue and had no idea why I about died laughing!

That is sucky about your closing, hopefully soon, and AWESOME goals for the month. I love that you make realistic goals and that way you accomplish them!

First Time Homeowner :]

We are supposed to be closing on our new house in 9 DAYS!!!! I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time. It's such a huge step in my family's life. There's still so much packing to do!! I'm hoping to keep up with C25K even though things are going to start getting a littler crazier since its crunch time for everything. I had went to the grocery last week and tried to stock up with as much as I could so I can try and eat out as little as possible. Just have to try some new recipes with whatever ingredients we got lol

I start Week 4 of C25K this week. Last time I did Week 4 I had to do it twice because I was so out of breath when I ran so we will see how this time around goes. I looked up some ST exercises on Pinterest to add to my routines so I'm hoping to see some results with that. I've been packing my lunch for work very regularly. I didn't pack last night because all I had were Easter dinner leftovers and I had ate the same thing 3 days in a row lol

So, I went shopping the other day and needed a black dress. I usually wear a large or an x-large in shirts/dresses. I found this dress I really liked and tried on the large and the side zipper wouldn't zip up so I thought, "Oh, no big deal I know if I get the x-large it will be fine." Well I was WRONG!! That size wouldn't zip up either. Then I thought maybe it was because it was on the side so I couldn't get a real good grip on the zipper so I called my husband into the dressing room to zip me up and NOPE!! He couldn't get the zipper up either. I was so bummed out but then I thought, "Wait a minute!! I'm going to buy this dress and it's going to zip because I will lose this weight!!" I'm trying to think of what would be a realistic time frame to give myself to fit into the dress? I would like to wear it this summer but it could be worn in the fall too. Anyone have any thoughts on a good realistic goal for that?

It looks like it fits with a cardigan but I want it to actually fit ;)

    Awesome news on the house! Congrats!! I wonder if my husband and I will ever own a home :( As for the dress, I have a similar issue as you know, with some jeans. My fitness group on Facebook (ask me if you want to join, it's a bunch of awesome spark ladies!) suggested I try the jeans on each week as motivation/reminder and to help me see how I'm coming along. That is how you set that goal, not by weight or even time really. Just keep trying it on :)

    Yay! Congrats! That dress must run small because you do not look like you wear an XL! You will lose the weight and it will fit perfectly, just wait! I'm sure once you get settled into the house, it will be easier to get back on track.

    I used to have a sign is my locker: "This is tough, but, not too tough". I did not like healthy back then, but, I am hopeful now. Getting unhealthy is easy. Getting healthy is hard work. There are lots of sayings about that. I like Dorys' best: "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..." Just substitute your exercise of choice. Just keep on going...
