I think it's great that you include goals about everything that you want to accomplish in the month, besides eating right and exercising. Cleaning the fridge and my car should be on my list, too! Have a fantastic February meeting your goals! emoticon

Wow! I could use most of your goals - especially cleaning the kitchen and fridge, doing laundry in a timely manner, and scooping out the litter boxes!
Stay strong and determined and you will accomplish them all!

Looks like a wonderful list of goals. Some of those are on my list of things to do too!

Wishing you well on making it through and accomplishing your goals.

There are a lot of things on this list! Are you going to use printed lists or reminders for some of the things that you'll be doing away from home? I think the walking is a really good idea, even if there are days when most everything else goes by the wayside. Walks help me think about things that otherwise might be ignored. Also, I only carry a phone occasionally on walks -- mostly depending on what the weather is like and which outerwear I have to have.
Good luck with your plan!

Great goals! It's good that you included 8 hours of sleep too. That is something I let slip too much.

Great goals. It's always to see goals not based on just food and exercise. I've found it so easy to let my house chores, cleaning, laundry etc slip because I'm so focused on my Spark plan. Thanks for reminding me to do something similar to yours emoticon

I am very organized. I have a talent for walking into disaster, identifying the pertinent pieces, and creating systems and procedures to have it running smoothly.

I am very good at creating procedures and systems in other ways as well for saving time and work. I was a computer programming major in school and one of our teachers used to say that good programmers were lazy, they never rested until they found an easier way to do something! In other words, we would spend hours making a system that in the future would save us weeks! I walked into one job once and the first day they had me doing timesheets. It took me 3 hours to manually go through these huge ledger sized sheets adding up rows, columns and then sheets and going BACK through because the numbers didn't match up. I spent 40 minutes in Excel (a Microsoft product spreadsheet program), gave the sheet to my boss, and told him to present it to the other managers. I took my 3 hours (which I was assured was "NORMAL") and made processing timesheets a 15 minute job.

I am a very loving, caring and "good" mommy to my furbabies.

Wow! This is getting hard... I know it shouldn't but coming up with 3 things I love about myself every day and not repeating is difficult!

I love my intelligence. I have the ability to see through BS, think things through rationally, stop negative bad stinky thinking and rephrase my script, and other things of that nature because I am smart and a free thinker. That's one of the reasons I love Gary Taubes!! :)

I love my ability to do research. I'm really good at ferreting out facts and information and finding if there are or are not substanciating evidence towards or against something that I've heard or premise.

I love my analytical nature. I am very deeply emotional, but I am very surfacely (and deeply) analytical as well, which goes hand in hand with the other two things in todays blog. I have the ability to detract unimportant fluff to find the key points and see the connections that create patterns in the universe.

For anyone reading who doesn't know, this series is part of the FLYLADY SPARKERS team challenge Finally Loving Yourself.

I am a good animal person. Animals really like me, especially cats and large dogs. I've always attracted animals, even ones that don't normally like "strangers" like me. Just last weekend I was at my nieces and she was telling me how her dog doesn't like strangers... she was curled up into my rear end at the time! LOL

I am good with kids. I babysit at night my two youngest neices (3yo and 3mo). Sometimes the 8yo is there as well. Even though I have no kids of my own I have NEVER not taken care of them... babysitting or living with them or SOMETHING. and they respond very well to me. I think kids are smart and can tell when you are bsing them and if you really like them or not and if they can pull one over on you or if you are confident around them. Having so much experience I'm very confident and take a firm "I'm the adult and the rules will have consequences attached" while at the same time being loving and caring and fun.

I am a very nurturing person. Everyone tends to come to me with their problems. Even at work. And people act like I'm their mom a lot. Like today one of my coworkers wanted to know something and I said, so and so knows. So they said well will you ask her? Now these two people work in the SAME department doing the SAME job and talk to each other ALL DAY! But she just instinctively wanted me to take care of it... same thing with my sister and my grown niece who has kids. BOTH of them talk to me and want me to talk to the other (like making plans or such) ... hello! You both have cell phones! LOL but like kids with a mom they want me to do it instead.

Okay, three more things I love about myself.

I am a very loving person. I am a very giving person. I am a very caring person.

I love the people that I love very deeply and that includes friends, family, pets, etc. I don't always show it, I'm not real 'sappy', but my emotions are very deep.

I give of myself a lot! If you take take take I will stop giving eventually because I'm not going to allow myself to be used, been there done that way too many times, but if it is reciprical, even if the weight is far more on my side than not, I will give you the shirt off my back.

I am a very caring person. I'm the first one there if you are sick, I comfort, pray, hold and even tough love when needed. I probably care too much for my own good because I've made myself sick of someone else not doing well.

I don't think any of these are what someone would necessarily think of when they think of me because I come off as being a bit less than lovey dovey and touchy feely, but this is how I am inside. I guess that's one reason I'm good with small kids, cause they can tell what you are like inside :)
