oops!!! its week 4 and start of week 5! so just catching up on how my week went and im pretty proud of myself this week for being day 2 diet pop FREE!!!! thats huge for me!!! iv tried many times before and i just could not kick it i never even made it this far so i think...no i know i have it it nailed this time!!! have a wonderful week everyone :)

    I love your vlogs! Congrats on all of your accomplishments. Cutting back on the pop is hard, I know from experience. Way to go on hitting a mile!

I also love avocados. I never used to. Not sure when that changed. I like to chop some up and throw it in my scrambled eggs or in an omelets. I also like to spread some on my sandwiches.. a layer of avocado, a couple slices of turkey or chicken breast, some lettuce and tomato and yummo!

A spark recipe I recently tried is oatmeal pancakes. I know oatmeal is pretty bland but I have two with a thin layer of peanut butter, Dole mixed fruit and light vanilla yogurt and it's a meal that feels me up until lunch.

I'm not much of a cook. I'm trying to work on that.

    I loved this Vlog!!! What an inspiring week you've had! I am really impressed with everything you have done and talked about here. Drinking a lot more water and a lot less Pepsi is fantastic (gradually weaning yourself off is a great idea and I bet before you know it you won't even want a diet pepsi) :-) - Oh, and walking the Mile and doing the 3000 steps, that too is just wonderful!!!!
Yep, with a nor'easter it's a bit difficult to do anything outside, but seems like you are not going to let that stop you from doing whatever you can inside in the meantime - Even fixing those great recipes (something I need to focus on as well), is staying on track and doing the right things for a healthy you. This is definitely going to be your year to shine and to feel the best that you have ever felt.
14 pounds! That is a great achievement (just pick up 14 pounds of anything and carry it around)! So, keep posting and keep up the good work. You have my support all the way!

Well this was very much not planed this video i opened up my web cam to just take a simple picture of my face so i could go back later and look at the difference and it some how turned in to me making a video lol so this is just me and a little bit of my story. For anyone who knows me knows im a shy person and this is very much out of my comfort zone sooo here goes nothing!!! p.s you will have to turn the sound up wasn't speaking very load.

Have you checked out the seated workout videos on Spark? Those may be helpful. Of course your doctor should advise you on what you can do.

I was so inspired reading her story, how she has overcome several health problems, took it in baby steps and has really improved her life.

Getting rid of the pop is excellent. It took me some time, I had a three or four a day pop habit (regular, never like the taste of diet anything) I started by keeping a water bottle with me and sipped water in between sips of pop.

Now I can't drink a full can without feeling sick and bloated.

I think your vlog is brave and awesome and, although I could just hug you to pieces for all the pain you have suffered, I think you are going to overcome all that has plagued you thus far.

Enjoying my new journey

So today is already day 25 in my new life's journey I am no longer calling it a diet its my new life my new start my new Journey Its a new me! So much has happened for me in the last 25 days.

I now juicing when I am able to have the extra fruit and veg in the house and I love it! So fun trying out new stuff. Also I'm still tracking my food each and everyday that is the BIGGEST help to me I think. Also been trying to walk every night after supper for at least 15 mins or longer depends on my back. If been taking pain management Classes and really seems to be helping teaching me new tips and tricks.

Iv been learning Qi Gong and very much enjoy it, and I have fallen in love with mediation! Its amazing so relaxing and I feel so good afterwards.

Over all I feel the best I have in soo long even years really. My back still isn't very good but my mood has sky rocketed and my out look on life.

I hope everything is going well with you all!

I'm back!

Well my friends I am back and on sparkpeople! From the last time i was on here Iv been able to keep off pounds which is great and makes me happy. The reason(s) why I am back is because i once again want and very much need to lose weight. For those of you who know me from my first stay here know I have a very bad back that limits what I can do day to day and in the last 6 months Iv had up and downs with it and doctors I have found out now there is nothing the medical world can do for me so everything now lays with me, so I am now taking pain management classes, taken nutrition classes and I just started juicing!!!

I have started back on my diet on July 8 2013 so a week ago and so far so good! This first week has truly been great I have to be one of the biggest diet pop drinker around and yes i know how bad it is for me and thats one of the things iv been working on and iam happy to say this week i went from drinking 6-8 cans a day! to only drinking 2 so iv cut wayyy back and that in itself for me it a mile stone and soo proud of myself i havent even done threw withdraws which is nice. Iv been infusing water with fruit and its what has been helping me get off my diet pop. plus its so fun you get to try new flavors everyday :)

This week i also started juicing! My step mum has been telling me for over a year to get on the juicing and finally i listened to her lol but i did get to see with my own eyes what juicing has done for her. So its been a few days now that i have been juicing and so far iam really enjoying it. i am only doing simple stuff right now i dont want to scare myself off it. The first few days i was alittle bit scared to juice just because i did not know it would work in to my daily calorie count but i did a web search and came across an amazing website juicerecipes.com/build/ it gives you the calorie count of your juice!! sooo wonderful and so happy i found it. My juices are simple 1 cup so far just carrot, apple and celery so yummy.

So i am going to try and keep up with the blog and put in my juicing and maybe if whoever is reading this lol if you want my juicing recipes that i make i can put them up as well.
