December goals

Sunday, December 07, 2014

Well, I have been SO lazy.. I have gained over 20 lbs in the last 3 or 4 months. I have to get back in check.

1) 10 minutes cardio and 10 minutes strength training helped me in the past.

2) drink at least 8 cups of WATER....this is hard for me I don't like the taste of water.

3) Eat healthier....measure out my in moderation!!

4) Work on the negative dialogue in my head about myself. That inner voice is really loud and really mean.

I have no choice to change stuff because I am NOT happy with my body and my weight.

5) I will cook healthier and have healthier snacks in the house!!

I understand feeling off mentally and emotionally. I have to remind myself to keep moving towards my goals all the time, but especially when I'm feeling down or discouraged. I'm really writing to remind you that #6 is SPOT ON!

When you concentrate on your non scale victories and just keep doing what you know works for weight loss, you will find more joy and peace and the results will come. I consider it a non scale victory when I have more energy to give to my children. Or when I just follow through on my workout even when I don't feel like it.

Hope you start feeling better soon and thank you for sharing :)

1) drink a gallon of water a day!
2) exercise everyday at least 30 minutes!
3) eat healthier food!
4) lose 5 pounds this month!

I am feeling a little discouraged lately, my weight has gone up some and I am exercising more and eating healthier most of the time. I know I need to find a balance or everything...whatever that means. I gotta stick to it either way!!!

I can empathize. This is the beginning of a rough season for weight loss! I think last year was the first fall/winter of my life that I lost instead of gained. I promise, it can be done! Lol My best trick at birthdays is to claim "I don't have much of a sweet tooth lately" and just have a bite or two of my husband or kids cake. A whole piece is too tempting, and someone always makes me feel like I'm being a bad host/guest/parent/etc if I admit it's for my own health. *eye roll*
