August Goals

Well, I have slacked BAD this last month.

Goals are:
1) Track food
2) Exercise at least 30 minutes a day
3) Cook Healthy meals 5 days a week.
4) Drink lots of water.
5) Find at least 30 minutes a day for ME time.
6) Love my fitbit!!

June Goals!!

June Goals!!...lots has been going on in my life...not getting into it but I am determined to be the best me I can be!! Bought smaller plates for my hubby and I and for Father's Day this year I ordered him a Spark Activity measuring spoon and gonna get out the kitchen scale again!!!

Goals this month:
1) Track ALL my food!
2) Track ALL my fitness
3) Drink 8- 8oz of water a day!!!
4) light up all my lights on my tracker everyday...set at 4,999 steps a day for now.
5) keep after my husband who is also on this weight loss journey with me and help him lose weight!!
6) Be happy in my life and in my skin!!
7) buy a new tankini and take my son to the new pool in town(my old one is 3 sizes too big!!)

I am thinking my husband Tim and I are gonna be a force to be reckoned with. We are gonna try new things to lose weight and we are getting closer as a couple also!!

a new week a new me

I am gonna track all my food and all my exercise and do my Spark stuff and see what happens..I have to do something what I am doing now isn't really working...My oldest daughter graduates from High School on the 29th and I need to look and feel my best for that!! Starting tomorrow Monday the 19th I will track everything I eat and drink and everything I do!! I hope to remember to blog about it also!!

saw an ad!!

I saw an ad for a metabolic research something or another for losing weight, I was thinking I should try that!! Then read where they gave you a personal meal plan for the week and an exercise program and typically you only lose 1 to 2 pounds a week!!
I didn't look to see how much it costs or said it would have a personal plan for me to lose weight...scientifically!!! I like science and all but Sparkpeople has all that stuff and it is free, I mean I have to utilize everything and do my part to find the answer to unlock my weight loss potential!!
I saw it and it made me realize that!!! I have all of that stuff here in front of me all the time from my home and don't have to go to a center!! So I am thinking starting next week I will start a menu plan and find a exercise program thing I can follow and weigh in every week and see what happens!!

    I felt EXTREMELY relieved when I first read The Spark and noticed all the free resources has to offer. I may seek out more challenging things like joining a gym, personal trainers, carb cycling, etc. but Sparkpeople is ALWAYS my safe-go-back-to spot. The community alone makes it worth it to me.

  I agree with John. There are so many scams and gimmicks out there that I personally wouldn't try. Stay with Spark, it's the way to go. You CAN do it.

    The ads promise that one person will get thin and one person will et rich. More often than not, on ly one person achieves their goal and it is noy the one who wants to lose weight. You are right, all the tools we need are right here
