I don't know where the time has gone! It seems like it was only yesterday when our daughter's fiancée was asking my husband for his blessing on his marriage proposal to our daughter. Suddenly a year and a half is gone and the big day is this weekend. There have been so many little tasks to complete and we've done them. All that is left to do is to pack and get to the airport.
This will not only be a wedding, it will be a large family gathering as well. My husband is one of eight children and all but two of his siblings have children of their own. It may be bittersweet because his father's health is frail so this may be the last time everyone is together. (His mom passed away many years ago) Since I come from a very small family, it can be very overwhelming for me at times. Hubby's family gets loud and loves to dance, party and laugh. They are lots of fun. I've been told that the groom's family is large, loud and loves to dance and party too so we should all get along well.
I'm not even worried about my eating because it's so ingrained in me! I know that I'll make wise choices and if I don't, as soon as I get back I'll resume my regular routine. We have a place to stay that has a pool and gym so I can exercise every day. I will miss all my Spark friends while we are gone but I will have pictures when I return and will share them with all of you. So, I'll see everyone next week!
