Happy Saturday To All!

I'm having a happy day today. I'm stiff but not as stiff as expected. That's good news because it means that my muscles are getting used to working out again. On Monday I'm having a redo on my lab work to see if my numbers have improved any. Hopefully the 3 weeks of workouts will have helped somewhat.

I'm doing well with my goals this week!

I'm dong very well with the goals I set for this week! I did three long sessions of water aerobics - the workouts were pretty intense so I may be sore tomorrow. I've also done some walking on my other days. I've gotten rid of quite a bit of HOA stress - I'm no longer on the board. I'm doing a good job of keeping my food diary (every day this week) and I am doing better with my feelings diary. All in all, it has been a very successful week!

Goals for the week

I've set several goals for this week. They are as follows:
1.) Go to water aerobics 3 times and walk 4 times
2.) Get rid of HOA related stress
3.) Be more active with feelings diary
4.) Pay closer attention to my food diary

Lets see how I do. So far, I've done some walking, written in my food diary and gone to water aerobics. I really need to work on the HOA stress and writing in my feelings diary. Identifying problem areas is half the battle and I've done that. Yea me! Now I need to buckle down and achieve. (I know I'll do this because I'm a classic overachiever!)

It has been an active week for me

I am so proud of myself this week! emoticon I did water aerobics three times (75 min. ea.) and then this morning I was able to walk a 15 minute mile with some team members of our Polk County (FL) Group. We had a great time and I'm finding myself enjoying being so active again. Now, if only my thyroid would settle down, I could start losing weight again!!! One step at a time! Right?

I feel strong today!

I had a terrific workout today and I'm pooped. I've been eating well since the first of August and I'm feeling healthier. I am surprised at how strong my muscles still are because it's been a while since I was in a regular workout mode (other than just walking). I gave my workout my all today - which may mean that I'll be sore tomorrow. I think I'll probably go to water aerobics again tomorrow but cut my intensity by half or I'll hurt myself. Today I was proud of myself. My legs felt like noodles when I got out of the water. lol There is a Wal Mart behind the pool and several of the guys who were on a break stood around for a while and watched our class. We're contemplating a group wave later in the week just to stir things up and to keep the "peeping Toms" on their toes! That should be fun!
