Eating breakfast gets your day off to the right start. When I was a little child, I recall my mother insisting that I eat breakfast every morning. It became a habit. As a teenager, I experimented with different foods and eating or not eating them. I even tried not eating breakfast for a while. Guess what I discovered? Eating breakfast really does make you feel better and get you off to a great start in the morning! Whether you eat a big meal or just cereal, fruit and water, you need to refuel your body after not eating for 8+ hours. Advantages are: more energy, less fatigue, better concentration, less hunger at lunch time and more efficient body movements. There have been many studies done that support eating breakfast. So do your body a favor and give it the fuel it craves in the morning; even if you don't initially feel hungry. Eat a healthy breakfast. You'll be glad you did!
