trying trying to get spark back

Friday, May 27, 2011

thanks for the awesome comment!

I think this step backwards is part of the journey.

I don't think it's a failure.

i think i was super motivated, blogs flows and I was on a mission!
BECAUSE i didn't know what goal or close to goal taste like!

my attitude is...ok so this is what it's like to get here!
what is all the rush!

and now, i have switched gears

how to maintain?
what is liveable?

What I did although super effective, is not maintainable!

now that toddler is of crazy age. schedule is crazy.
summer is coming.... but I think I figured a way to do this ;p

Still working on self sabotage mode!

who bought cookies and chocolates! hmmm I did!

My Spark streaks are gone! so JUNE 1, will start a new month!

I think I have too many ppl barking at me...
before I was doing this on my own.

hubby....P90x! p90x!
sis.... nutrition lecture

ALL in all too much expectations, and advise

I am the stubborn, type the more you push the more I DONT WANNA!

spark is different.... you guys push, I go OK
but in real life.... I tune out!

so here is to a new month in june!!!!

We all need to self-evaluate from time to time. Don't beat yourself up about it. You've made amazing progress. Set new goals: a 5k, a triathlon, a 10k...whatever you decide will be right for you. I know what you mean about kids and their crazy time, work with it, not against it. Do races with them at the park, pull-ups on the playground equipment, push-ups on the benches. Sometimes our bodies resist our efforts and it's usually an indicator that we've been hard on ourselves. Change pace for a bit until things calm down, you can always hit it hard on one day a week or next month. Don't forget this journey is supposed to be fun.

You need to start tomorrow :) you will find a balance with working out and eating healthy. Give yourself another goal....we all need something to work towards, I know it helps me! Don't beat yourself up for taking a break, I did these last 10 days, did not feel well and had 10 hour work days....so today I put my sneakers on, feeling a little nervous, haven't run in 10 days....I went out for 30 min, and ran a 9 min mile!
It will be easy to start working out again once you start!
Just put the clothes on and go for a walk/jog, you will feel like doing more!

I am exactly the same way. You CANNOT tell me anything and if you do I push back. It has to be my own thing. I am sure it is nice to have a loved own who is also focused on fitness, but there is probably a lot of pressure that comes along with it. We're here when you're ready. BTW, I have missed you on the world and mission to Pluto relays! I know, pressure, pressure:) It is good to hear from you. emoticon

yes ma'am get right back on it on June 1st! Do you think maybe you regressed a little because you've accomplished your fitness goals (i.e. your HM)? But I agree, your regimen was very aggressive before and will be hard to maintain if you're not 100% motivated.

Good luck and I hope you get your Spark back!

You can do this - Do what is right for you - You are right that the challenges are part of the journey and we all have times the challenges get the best of us - brush yourself off and get back up and start again as soon as you can. If you feel you were too extreme before just set the goals that are reasonable for you at this point in the game. We all have to re-adjust and re-evaluate from time to time. Just make sure you set the goals for you - what do you want and what works with your life - do not worry about how fast someone else thinks you should reach your goals or which goals you should have - no one knows you like yourself, trust your instinct and judgement and follow up accordingly. Good luck on your personal jouney to health and happiness.

    Why June 1st?

W'y not tomorrow? I know, I know, we all like even numbers, but I'm and oddball and see it as just another way of saying "tomorrow, not today" I have 3 kids, I know it's hard. I know the virtues of a protein bar for lunch because there is too much to do. I understand, but you have to make time for you because no one else will. And they WILL understand!

And no, I am not some supermotivated mountain of will power. As I sit here I am trying to talk myself into 30DS Level2...and it is an uphill battle.

So...no tomorrow! No June 1st, no later, no it's hard, no jello, no more. Push that mind to do what your body can do. You KNOW what yo can do! You have been doing it. The P90x, the HM, the running, the training. That was all you, that is still all you, locked away behind "tomorrow".

No more tomorrow! Let your body do what it was meant to do, 2 weeks off is long enough. Let it fly! Let it be free and you will see the wonders it does to your mind.

I have a love hate with Korean dramas, they're addicting but so slow paced and so predictable. I used to watch anime like crazy, but since my son was born I don't watch much anymore.

DAY 2 of tracking FOOD: cupcake, cheetos and b-day cake

Thursday, May 19, 2011

hi all

Hey being real honest!

no exercise, real sore from HM.

today was totally lack of planning ;p

took nap with DS, missed lunch.

hence, only food available while waiting on DD fro Kumon was her b-day cupcake leftover from school.

she took longer than expected to finish...

topping it off with her b-day cake!

LOL I was not going to TRACK!
but i did!
2043 cals! not too bad... but must do better ;p

tracking really makes a difference to my conscience

thanks spark!

spark on!
