I'm in! I've had enough negativity lately to last me a long time. Spring is coming and that good enough for me.
For me, when DH went away this past fall, I did sooooo well. He's the one that insists on having junk food in the house. So I tried new SP recipes three times a week which meant my meals were done in batches and no one else was complaining about the mess, the smells or the taste. I could spark as long as I wanted without being told to get off the computer, I did my exercises before making the bed and at night, I was the only one in bed which meant I had a better sleep, etc. etc. Mmmm! I'll have to ask him if he wants to visit his mother again!

Hope you have a great week!

Look forward to the NEW you!

Saturday, February 19, 2011

Hi all

I remember when I started this journey, I wanted to know what the DONE me would be like!

I looked at other's pic and success stories and wondered!

Then I decided.... WHAT am I doing?

WONDERFUL stories, wonderful pictures of progress!

They are NOT ME!

Looking at their progress doesn't have anything to do with me!
That is NOT what I will look like!
That is NOT my story!

I HAVE to get my butt moving! I NEED TO DO THIS
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

BUT I found MOTIVATION in there stories and pics!

So I took my first pics and RAN!
For weeks I wondered what will I look like at the end of C25k!
I was LOOKING forward to the NEW Me!

THERE it is! That is what I looked like 10 weeks later, 10 lbs lighter (170-160)

Finishing the c25k I had the courage to take my dog for a run!
I took her out in Nov 16 2010, and my dog didn't even break a trot!
I WROTE in my blog that there will be a day when she will take me seriously and run!
I was LOOKING Forward to the NEW me!
And that day was today! 14 wks later!!!! 2.7 mile turned into 5 miles

This week is my 10th wedding anniversary!
I didn't have a set goal, just wanted to have some results
I was LOOKING forward to the NEW me!

15 lbs different! I was 145 at my wedding(10/12), and 159 in this picture a few wks back(4/6)!

I am still LOOKING forward to the NEW me!

What will I look like after 90 days of p90x?

What will I look like after my Pittsburgh marathon in may?

What will I look like when I am comfortable with a bikini?

Always looking forward!
Building new motivation and new standards!

What about YOU!!!

Are you LOOKING forward to the NEW you????

It's a long road and it's not easy!
I you will get there!!! day by day!!

What am I most looking forward to? I am living very much in the present and truly celebrating each day's progress and milestones. I don't look too much into the future and wonder "what if?" My immediate goals that I'm looking forward to - my first 5k at the end of March and my second 5k at the end of April!

Great blog. But know you look good at all sizes.
Remember too you are a different age and body from when you were first married though.
Bodies and metabolisms change.
You are a true motivator and are doing great and look fabulous.
What is your personal mental vision of yourself?
Is it realistic?
I ask myself this all the time and struggle with it.
So for right now my goal is to get my BMI down to a healthier number and then tone as much as I can.
So enjoy the ride, don't stress as long as you are doing the best you can, that is all you can do.

Friday, February 18, 2011

Hi all

Here is a pic of my other baby, MISTY! (2003, now she is 10)

Here is the link to my #7 journal in NOV 2010 when I took her out first first time

TITLE of BLOG: is BRAVE ENOUGH to take MISTY for a run!

A Summary of the blog would be:
MISTY: Mommy, you call this a RUN!!! COME on WOMAN STEP it UP!
ME: You !@#%%!!$#%! 1#$!%!#$@%@!%@!!!!!!

2.71 miles (I have completed c25k)

Running with Dog is alittle Ok a LOT annoying!!!
She has to do her business! and TODAY EVERYTHING all the critters are out!!!

Like before she didn't take me seriously!
TO her, I am still SLOW and FAT! hahahaha!

first 1 miles she was just happy to be out! ADHD!!!
I am getting accustomed to HER!

I ran pretty slow, 12-15 mins/mile
SAME course like that AWESOME run on weds!
I SWEAR it's all in my head!!!

By my 3rd loop on the hillest part! she was DONE!!!

I felt bad, so I went to the loop and walked on the warm up hill!!

ME: COME on, is that all you got!!! Come you can do it Misty!
MISTY: You !Q@%!@%@!$@#@!%!!!

LOL she is out like a light some where!!!!

5 miles today 71 mins hahhaha

I think it was more TOO HOT than Lack of Stamina on her part (in her defense)

I am going have to RATE the hills. (1-10) (PIC from summer)

HIll 1: 2 Warm up hill,

Loop: A circle light hills: 3

Hill2: is a steep V: 3 ( Downhill momentum carried be through half way)

Hill 3: is a W of uphill!!: 8 DID NOT KICKED MY BUTT

Hill 4: reverse of W: 4 Downhill (3min)
Hill5: is reverse of V: 10
Loop 2: 4
warm-up hill: 4

Cul De Sac = 4
Driveway: steep!!!: walke it at cool down today

I did something OUT of my COMFORT zone yesterday!

Friday, February 18, 2011

hi all

Yesterday! I got me a

YEAH! totally out of my comfort zone!
NEVER owned one in my life!

I have a total MENTAL block about this one.
So this will be my own pics, not posting, dont ask ;p

How is it different from the sport bra and tankini shorts?
I don't know it just is!

don't want to start putting my page on private mode ;p

SO there you go! I am going to do my own BIKINI CHALLENGE!

MAN it's totally UNKIND!
I have a deformed tummy, you can't see it in my tankini
BUT MAN it's clear as day with bikini!

EDIT: Deformity?
Yes, slight! from EMERGENCY C-section! save baby or vanity! LOL
you don't see it because there is a reason that you only see the same side progress pic!

Part of my DONTset yourself you for FAILURE moves!

I have renewed motivation ;p

B/c I am back to 160.
i decided when I feel comfortable in the bikini! I will maintain ;p

ALL other BMI, IDEALweight and tool not working for me!

Still can't believe I did that!

I still have my bikini from my one summer at WW goal...back in 1972! I recently pulled it out and have it where I can see it. (My husband saw it and immediately wanted me to try it on...yea, right..I weigh about 40 lbs more now!) I had emergency surgery, too, and though the Dr used a bikini cut, it makes my belly roll out over the incision scar. I don't ever plan to wear that suit in public again, but it is nice to be reminded of where I hope i am headed. I would LOVE to have the figure of your background model!

Wishing you success with your motivator! emoticon(sunglasses to go with your bikini at the beach).

First....congrats on stretching the comfort zone and going where you didn't really want to go! Be sure you are balancing the critique with kindness and positive comments...when you put the bikini on for your private mirror moments....you can look at what you need to improve but also be sure to compliment yourself on what you have already changed...for every negative...tell yourself 2 positives...soon there will be more positives than negatives!

OOOooooh congratulations on your new bikini!! What do you mean a deformed tummy? Are you just being mean to yourself, because I've never noticed anything out of the ordinary in your pictures...

I wore a bikini last summer and felt hooorrrribly uncomfortable in it. And my boyfriends brother took a picture from behind of us walking into the ocean and oooh myyyyy goodness it is the worst pic ever. Cellulite central and a bit of butt crack too. ON FACEBOOK! I untagged myself immediately but I couldn't make him delete it altogether :( And I'm not exagerrating, it's really bad.

Hopefully we can both strut our stuff confidently on the beach this summer! You are planning to wear it in public eventually, right?

GOOD FOR YOU!!! I'm really proud of you. That's a huge step and I'm certain that it will be just the motivation you need to keep going in the right direction! Is THAT the bikini? It's cute!
