I maybe bc i reached the required 8 glass of H2O for the first time!
My metabolism is on high gear today!!!!!
sluggish and icky feeling is gone!

heck! I just cleaned out one closet monster!

After reading up in the diet nutrition section, i had a great breakfast.
I realized I have to get my 1200 cal. some days i am at 800.
must fuel the system ;p and hydrate! MINI GOAL!

off to run 2 miles at least today ;p

downside: scale refuse to budge ;p oh well!

    Yay! I've noticed that I, too have a lot of energy. Although it doesn't always get put to work by exercising instead I end up cleaning the house. That's exercising, a little bit right? Lol.

I have given u everything this week:
In the past 7 days:
1. Joined c25k!
2. Ran 2 miles in 18 min in 3rd day of training
3. Registered for a 5k in 3 wks
4. Ate my 1200+ Cal a day
5. Exercise 200-500 Cal off a day
6. Tackled Pittsburgh's hilly terrain 3xs
7. Lost 11 inches
8. Gave u my 2nd born son, put up with his daycare drama so I can run
9. Swam for 30 mins
10. Cooked well balanced meals for the family
11. Removed chocolate from my vocabulary and house.
12. Ran/walked everyday but one

It's been 5 days. Pls budge!!

    Remember that if you're losing inches, that's fat lost. You are probably not building muscle if you are in weight loss mode and burning more than you eat. Adding muscle mass requires you to eat more than you burn. Keep in mind a lot of other factors that have nothing to do with your body fat can keep the scale still or make it rise. Doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong. Just means that the scale is not an accurate measure of success for you.

    You are doing a lot.. you may be retaining water to build muscle and that is a LOT of inches lost so you are making awesme progress.

    Aw keep at it! I completely understand what it feels like to not see the scale cooperating. but remember muscle weighs more than fat and you are loosing inches! Be very proud of those 11'' and keep up the good work!!!!

Today the first mile was a piece of cake!!!!
As i was making my 16th lap, i remember thinking "THAT'S it!!! did i count wrong" and the watch read less than 10 minutes had past. THIS is DAY 3 of training for 5k

the second mile felt like my very first mile last week! but i pushed through it!

It's not the physical run. I think physically i can run 5k. it's my cardio that can't keep up. and my mental drive. the very last five laps all i can remember is breathing "PUSH PUSH PUSH you can do it."

only thing that kept me going is "I WANT TO PUT on my STATUS : today i ran 2 miles!!!" the 18 mins is icing on the cake

My son, CRIED the whole time! well thx again great YMCA staff. we are working on him calming himself down.

    This is day 3 of week one for you and you ran a 9 minute mile? Holy cow. You'll be done before you know it. Time to start looking at the couch to 10k programs. Amazing!

I was just searching of some pics of summer 2010 to see if i have any before pics.
I realized The only one is my profile pic. 2 other but i was using both kids as human shields! or carrying him in a bjorn!

(i don't know what i am thinking, this was spring 2010 I was 160)

They were either all single shots or doing activities with their dad! 7 yrs of my daughter live, I only have a handful of pics, none i am proud of.

If i were to go today! they won't have a decent photo of me. morbid I know.

Well here is to more pics with my family! Soon ;p

    I know what ya mean. This weekend my fiance and I went on a hike and I took tons of pics of him but there's only one of me and it's only my head.

Regreting not having a before pic

Today I decided that I would put up a progress pic.
Something I have never done before.
It's kinda exciting and scary at the same time!
Putting myself out there for all to see.

I don't have a before pic!
These pictures is taken today, 2 weeks in, 9 lbs lost according to MY scale, 11 inches (since I recorded, not total that is unknown)

weight........180 171 -9 lbs

chest/bust..42-40 -2 in
waist...........36-33 -3 in
hips.............43-42 -1 in
arms.............13-12 -1 in
thighs...........25-22 -3 in
total lost...............-11 in


I didn't not record my abs/gut, I had a tire, it's gone so Lost whatever that was too ;p


hope it's gets better from here on out
