I made a New Year's resolution to only have dessert 5 days/month and artificial sweeteners 5 days/month. I used all my allotted days, but didn't go over the 5 and 5 goal! Feelin' good about that. :)

Lightest Thanksgiving Meal Ever

Had malaria Thanksgiving Day, so ate a big spoonful of mashed potatoes and two bites of meat (one chicken, one turkey). Gotta say, on the positive side, I'm not worried about having overdone it this year! ;)

So in my initial pushup test a week ago, I did 4 pushups. After a week on the 100 Pushups program, I could do 2 max! My arms must be fatigued. Either that, or it was just a bad day.

I'm hoping I can chalk it up to muscle gain, because I've [mostly] been doing my part lately! You can check my food and exercise logs. They're not too bad these last couple weeks!

    I don't even raise my eyebrows over a pound anymore! I've discovered so many things can impact my weight that I only get worried if I see that kind of small fluctuation and it only goes UP week after week!

200 Situp Program

So in the same vein as the 100 pushup program, I've started the 200 situp (actually, crunches) program. I'm doing it on alternate days (Tues-Thurs-Sat) from the pushup program (Mon-Wed-Fri). I started yesterday, when 38 was my maximum number of situps. I'd like to be able to do 100 or 150 good-form crunches in a go. Making 200 would be super too, though!
