These past days have brought it back to me a hundred fold , why I am here!
Two deaths [heart related], one aunt and a cousin. Another cousin in intensive care after a heart attack.
The days have been hectic. All three .... weren't carrying any extra weight ... at least, not visibly! The cousin in ICU, is a chain smoker. So, please... anyone reading this, if you smoke, QUIT NOW!!
Throw in a couple of weddings, and I am out of it all! :^/
One wedding and a couple of ceremonies more in connection with the departed souls coming up in the next few days.
With DH in 'rest mode', in connection with treatment for his backache.... it is a full life!! ;)
Trying to eat healthy... and some stretches when possible.
Have had to miss out on my PDP challenge last week and so far, this week too. I do miss not being IN on that.
Will take me a few more days to be back in action.

Have to take care of myself. Nutrient wise.
Starting from tomorrow prepare at least one dish that is not too hot. DH likes it hot, salty and spicy always, and I end up eating less of everything.
Have been trying out more fruits. Now for the raw veggies, the salads..
Sadly, though I like a 'crunch' , its not the crunch of raw veggies.
Not too much into chips and such stuff these days.
Better try my hand at making veg smoothies.. Let us see how it goes.
Still loving my aerobics class. Now I just can't stand the real slow low impact class that comes around once a week when our regular instructors take a day off. That day it is utterly boring.
I use a big glass, holding three regular glasses of water for my H2O intake. That takes care of my daily eight.
Will shop for an exercise band tomorrow. Do they come in different strengths? I'll find out.
Search for an aerobics CD too. Or at least some music fit for aerobics.
Sleep wise, this last week hasn't been too good. Thought I'd got over that particular problem. Had been sleeping well since I joined the gym.
Maybe I need more action! To put myself to sleep.
Abs, here I come.

Sorry, I'm not here as often as I should be.
But then, I'm learning to do what works for me.
At long last, I've joined a nearby gym. Thank you, all my friends here who have at one time or other encouraged me THANK YOU!
I'm happy about finally taking that step.
That first aerobics class... had me nearly fainting. Thank God I did not make a fool of myself or drop out.
Each day, it has got better. My stamina has increased.
Now I've completed more than a month at the gym.
Now its time for me to read those favourite spark articles of mine once again ...

Life has been kind to me these past few days. Or I have been kind to 'life'. ;-)
Have been doing things right.
Lost a lb. That should be inspiration enough to stick to it.
