Today one of my spark buddies ask sparkers to join her (Candy) to be fabulous. I accepted! I am feeling good. I am down another pound.
I took this picture right after I came home from the gym. No make-up (sorry), gym clothes, tousled hair. and no sucking in the gut. Which I had to learn NOT to do for all my SP photos! Yep! I usually suck in the tummy for photos (I admit it) However, not one of my SP weight loss photos are of me sucking in the tummy. (Scary but necessary...for my own sake)
So, won't you join us today and just be/feel Fabulous?

My resting heart rate is 59 and I am 44yo (forget you read that!)
In October 2010 I was 66. If I am understanding correctly I was fine and now I am doing better. Another way to measure my efforts. Because, as my spark friends know, I lose weight slow...and in running to be in first place of the "Queen of Plateaus". In fact, I pretty sure when she dies I it!
Point being I must forget the scale is the only measure of my health and weight for that matter. Because I also loss another inch off my waist less than 2 weeks ago.
So, 32lbs down, 22 inches down and 7digits down on RHR. So what it took me approximately 10/11 months to do. I fine with that. Really, sort of, kinda of, Well, I am this morning!!!

I will make this short and sweet. I am tooting my own horn today!
My brother called me today, he needed to talk so I was there to listen (mind you it is usually the other way around). Well, the conversation lasted over 45minutes making me late for spinning class. Well, such is life! I still went to the gym and decided to jump on the treadmill. (Here comes the tooting part) I was able to jog for 40 minutes straight on a 7 step incline! I did not have to hold onto the handles and I never stop to briskly walk either. I was going to jog for 10 minutes walk for 3 and so on. Being my first time I only wanted to do 40 with a 5 minute cool down. Well, I felt fine after 10 then 15 then 20 then 25 well you get the picture. So, I kept going and completed my 40 jog with a 5 minute cool down. Yeah 45 minutes of cardio not bad for a first time jogger!
Dang, this exercising stuff really is getting me into shape. Maybe just maybe I might attempt an actually real bike path. A marathon in my future? Well, I don't want to get crazy now.

Today was a bright, cheery, sunshiny day. Yesterday I had plans for lunch with a friend, as usual she canceled. Although I am use to her disappointing me I was very upset because this time she also disappointed my baby girl. Well, I turned things around kept my plans to have lunch out with my daughter and call my best bud to ask if you would like to join us. She accepted and met us for Japanese. Yum. It was rainy,cold and cloudy yet all three of us had a great time. I wanted that feeling again and real soon. So today, after my sweaty yet enjoyable kickboxing, I saw a friend in the parking lot. We greeted each other and she ask when could we have a playdate? Aaah? How about today at the park? She accepted. Then I drove home made some phone calls and made sure I invited my best bud if she and her dogs (her children) would like to join my friends, their children and I at the park? (she has no children and at this point never will) so I made sure to make it about her dogs too! She accepted. I could not be happier! I was kind of worry she would say no because she did not have kids...I guess bringing up her dogs helped. However, she only brought one along.
We all had the best time walking around the park, watching the children play with Piper (12yo dog) and just talking. Yes. this was a lovely Wednesday!
