If you always do what you always done, you'll always get what you always gotton,

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

I have been practicing new behaviors at home and going out to eat. I've been tracking everything, everything even a peace of gum. Drinking more water especially before meals. When i go out to eat I always ask for water and a salad. Dressing on the side. Most of the time I put vinegar and oil on it. I order whole wheat and extra vegetable and the leanest of proteins, and if it's a big piece, I take half home and enjoy the extra veggies.
I walk and lift weights at least 4 times a week, sometimes I really had to push myself, but I tell myself I will lose faster. So far I have lost 18 pounds. Exercise is not such a chore now I'm actually liking it, because I no it has helped me allot. emoticon

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Keep up the good work! I also find that when eating out, I get two meals from the one by taking half home for lunch or dinner the next day. I love the title of your blog and say almost the same thing all the time'; if you keep on doing what you're doing, you'll keep on getting what you're getting.

Hi everyone

Saturday, May 08, 2010

You are all wonderful people. I have been walking 3 to 4 miles a day. I was doing 4 miles but started to get so tired I wanted to go to sleep afterwards. So I tried walking 2 miles in morning and 2 in afternoon or night. Works better for me. 2 miles goes so fast just half an hour. I use 2 lbs weights they really helped. I switch things up I put a bike near my tv and bike until my butt gets sore. I have weights next to me when I watch tv, it helps when i feel like mindless eating I grab the weights and start using them and forget fast, that I wanted to munch on something. I lost 18 lbs in 12 weeks I have 30 or so more to lose. I am very low income but I have a jar and put a dollar in it for every pound I loose. I want to have my hair hylited. Can't waite to get enough. emoticon

I have not yet gone into adding foods or exercise, I still am confused on how to do it, but I am so thankful for all who wrote in things regarding all subjects. I am now a member of weight watchers, my daughter inlaw signed me up for it. It's ok but I know spark people is much better program. And Thank God for Chris who started all this. I am reading the Spark I just bought it so far for what I have read it's a wonderful book, I am really enjoying reading it. I need to lose about 30 pounds just to fit into my cloths from last summer. I know I can do it with the spark again I THANK ALL OF YOU for all of your inputs, I love all of you. Most of all to Chris. emoticon

Yup...I feel the same way. As you get more familiar with SP you will love it even more.

I can tell you that SP has been the big difference in my success so far. I tried everything else before with nothing but failures behind me (atkins, nutrisystem, starvation, pills, juice diets, weight watchers, and even the cabbage diet).

You are in the right place for change!!! Welcome.

I like to introduce myself

Friday, March 26, 2010

I would like to thank all of you who signed me in as a friend. you are all awesome thanks.
I have about 40 to 50 pounds to lose. I lost almost ten pounds doing waitewatchers, I have a couple of weeks left, my daughter-Inlaw signed me up for 2 months. I can't afford the cost of ww, so I happened upon this site, and I'm so excited and feel it's so much better than ww.
For exercise I have been doing do Leslie Sansone walking tapes I used to be able to do her 5 mile tape..........That was before the weight gain. Now I'm doing 2 miles one of them with 2lb weights 30 min. Goes by fast and I love It.
One thing ww did for me, was let me see how much of a pig I am with food, You no portion I used to eat 2 or 3 times what your suppose to. and I almost cut out snacking. I guess things just click in. Anyway I enjoy most of your talks keep in touch. emoticon

emoticonto the team! SP is wonderful for support.

I eat snacks so that I am not so hungry at mealtime. I try to keep them at around 100 calories each. The nutrition tracker is a big help.

2 miles is good! You can work up to 5 again pretty soon.
