Day 1(ish)

Thursday, November 06, 2014

Hey! Its been a while. I managed to loose 45lbs in a little over a year and still have about 25-30 left to go. Its kind of stalled the last 2-3 months and have been letting old habits come back (and the lbs slowly creep on). I'm returning here to get my motovation back and hopefully jump start my weight loss. I relocated abot 3 months ago across the country and miss my old gym. I'm signed up for a new one but its nowhere near as convenient as my old one was. I need to fix this asap and have set the goal of just getting up early 4 days per week to do a workout video, so I'm not tempted to just skip exercising all together when I'm faced with the drive to the gym after work. Food wise I know I just need to stick to my meal plans. Diverting not only leads to poor choice (oh Jack in the Box how I love thee) but I also waste the food in my fridge. My goal is sto stick to the plan as closely as possbile for 5 days a week, to start with. I also need to work more fosh into my diet and I am going to try to work that in somehow. So yeah thats it my 2 goals. Im going to try this and logging sp for the next 6 weeks and reevaluate after .

All the best to you in reaching your goals. They are both doable and once in place, you can kick it up a notch higher.

My smart goal is to lose 50lbs by June30, 2013.

I am going to break my weight loss goals into 5 lb increments and aim to reach these mini-goals every 3-4 weeks.

My target right now is 5 lbs lost by 12-15-12.

Oh it is so nice to see someone who is realistic about what to do. It saddens me when I see someone who wants to lose 30 pounds in six weeks or thinks they are plateaued because they have only lost 4.5 pounds in the last three weeks.

Wasted Time

Saturday, November 03, 2012

I know I often don't utilize time to the fullest, but I'm not sure if I waste time either. I do like to watch about 3 specific tv shows per week plus the news and a soccer game. I feel like those are things I enjoy, so I'm not too keen on cutting those out. I know where most of my free time goes to: listening to music, food (planning, cooking, eating, thinking about, shopping, or tracking), and hanging out with my family/friends. Currently my best friend and I go to the gym on Sat and Sun. I know both of us have a hard time going during the week. We have made a pact to go right after work on Wednesday, although as of today we have not yet gone on a Wed. I am going to make an effort to go this week. I am also going to see if there are ways that I can work in little bits of exercise into my daily routine.

You have the right attitude, and an awesome support network in SP. Do you have goals that are important to you, and a timeframe or deadline you really want to hit? Ramp up that FEROCIOUS DETERMINATION, and you'll be unstoppable!
