So firstly just to mention from the end of my last blog.. my son's school did finish in the top 20! Huzzah! Winners haven't yet been anounced (I don't think..) but I'm waiting to hear good news for them!

Onward to me.
Life has been BUSY!!!
Back to school for both me and the little one. And then work going full force. And then holiday season upon us.

Before Rosh Hashana I was down to 166!
And now after Yom Kippur I'm 165.5

I've slacked off terribly at the gym. Terrrrribley. Like going once a week if that. Sometimes it's more like once every 10 days. I'm starting to debate suspending my account..
My eating habits have been mostly "shakes", but as usual after 2 weeks of being "mostly" good.. I'm now falling into bad habits of convincing myself that just having fewer shakes and eating a little more food is okay. And I"m eating snackery/crackery stuff. I'm still keeping down though. Since October I haven't climbed over 170 even after Rosh Hashana when I went away to a hotel for 3 days and had 6 catered meals and I gained 2lbs up to 168.
I'm going now to NYC for 2 weeks.. so we'll see if I can still be good!

Also another thing.. after going 70 days last menstrual cycle (my 2nd one going pill free), my cycle this time was 28 days! WOW! Maybe this means my body is really getting healthy?

I admit that I have less and less time to spark, and that I feel I need it a little less to stay motivated, but I definitely miss a lot of my sparkfriends and I hope you are all doing well!!

Anywho.. gotta get my day TTFN!
I will likely check back in October 5th when I get back from NY!

This will literally take less than 5 minutes..

All you need is a facebook page.
First step is to go to this page:
Click on the vote and it will direct you to login to your Facebook account and allow Kohl's. From there you can vote up to 5 times.
2 minutes of your time, and it gives my son's school a better chance at getting 500,000. A pretty painless "good deed".

Kohl's is giving away 500,000 to 20 schools.
This is the last week of voting, and my son's school fell from #1 in the standing to #7. With the pressure on, schools are using all sorts of tactics to try to get votes.

This grant is available only to elementary schools, and we all know how badly *every* school could use the money these days. My son's school was forced to leave their location last year, and they still have not completely set up the new school. These funds would help to bring the school "up to par" as well as help pay salaries.

I ask/beg/plead that if you have a facebook page.. to just follow the instructions on the page (it will let you login through that page) and just vote for the school 5 times.

Weekend Recap

So I didn't eat great over the weekend. This is a bad pattern I'm still struggling to correct.
MIL made home made cookies. Nomnomnom.
Saturday night I had the HUGEST carb craving..and ate 2 pieces of challah-cheese-toast and then my neighbor brought me over mexican fried food..with tortilla/beans/cheese NOMNOMNOM.
And Sunday I went with K to SundayFunday and ate 2 mini boxes of red hot candies and some chocolate.

But somehow.. Monday morning..I'm still under 170, and only a pound up from Friday.
So Mondays starting point isn't too bad.
I'm hoping to see more droppage this week.

I have been getting a lot of people, even my coworker who sees me daily, who have commented on the fact that they think I've lost weight.

One thing I've been bad about is going to the gym. I totally took the entire week off last week.
This week I'm feeling a lot better, but now finding the time is going to be hard. Ugh!

I'm going to have to figure out how to do 2 days in the morning at the gym, instead of leaving it all for the night time. That's the plan!

It's wednesday hump day.. and I"m feeling much better!
I have a bit more energy..and we'll see how it holds out for later. I plan to get back to the gym tonight after swimming lessons with the wee.

This morning I had a bridal registry I'm hoping I will get some business from that registry :)
I also got in a huge shipment of new gift items and new dinnerware samples..I can't wait to put out all the new stuff! So exciting.
Now I need to get to work on my new "open house" hopefully in the next few weeks before the High Holidays.

I got my shakes in I have 3 weeks worth of shakes.. let's see if that makes some weight budge!

I'm also about done with STage 1 of NROL4W..time to check out Stage 2.
I'm debating just starting 30 Day Shred for the next 30 days..
School is starting next we'll see how THAT manages to fit into my life!

School.. work.. business.. gym.. holidays.
