First day of Weight Watchers

Monday, January 17, 2011

I am starting weight watchers today and to those who may read this knowing I am in the isagenix group I do still plan on using isagenix from time to time but I have found that for an everyday thing I need to be able to eat what the kids are eating or similar throughout the day in order to stick to anything. I will still have a week here and there where I will cleanse and do a basic 9 day isagenix program but I cannot see myself living that way day in and day out.

I am starting my blog as mentioned in my welcome page statement.
I plan on posting a new blog at least twice a week and welcome everyone to come and comment on each blog and email me as you like.
I will post in my blogs the emotional side of weight loss and some of the big achievments or downfalls too.
It is time for me to stop hidding behind the baggy clothes and the cold weather gear and get my but in gear to be ready for summer up here.

I know it will take a while for me to fit back into my summer clothes from last summer but I have untill mid May to make it back into them. I plan on living in last years summer clothes until they no longer fit.

Last summer I was 238 pounds at the best point, with much credit going to isagenix.

Today is Janruary 17th, 2011 and I am starting WW at 276. Yes that is a big increase in weight from last summer but I know I can loose it again. I am not as heavy as I was when I began my weight loss journey so I know I can loose the weight again.

I will post a weekly goal for both something I have control over and a pound or measurment goal.

While doing all of this I will still run my in home preschool/daycare and still care for my own two children who are 7 and 2.

I hope to have others follow my blog and together we can share our cares, fears, hopes, and joys.

I like WW, because I can see myself working this way of life for the rest of my life. It is easier to stay on track when I'm not doing something that is so very different from my kids. I think you will find it that way too.
LEASTCMPLICATED, there is a post by SUNRISE14 that might help you at this address
http://www.sparkpeople.com/mysp
ark/team_messageboard_thread.as
p?board=0x30504x38416978

See if this helps you with tracking WW on Spark. I am old fashioned and like paper and pencil. Keeps it simple for me, and I know I can do it anywhere by keeping a small notebook and my WW Pocket Guide in my purse. This keeps my consistent- 45 pound loss since August 1!!
There is another post somewhere even earlier than this one on the WW Support Team message board if you want to dig for it, but the one I mentioned is shorter and seems to be as informative.

ANGEL4NATURE, keep up the good work. You and your kids will love you for it!!

I'm wondering how you do SP and WW. I just started WW but I like the SP board a little more, it has a better search and a better community. If you have any tips on how to integrate the two i'm all ears!! :) good luck in your journey!!

Posting from New Years 2010

Monday, January 17, 2011

I have been struggling with my weight for years. I was eclamptic with my pregnancy with my son and had 3 miscarrages.
Then I was blessed with a daughter.
However she came 3 weeks early by emergency c-section and that scared me and my husband.
During my pregnancy with her I was gestational diabetic, anemic, and at the end eclamptic. It is amazing that my baby girl is here.
I have to loose this extra weight.
My husband was diagnosed as diabetic with high cholesteral, high blood pressure and a anemia July 09. As of now 1/1/10 he has lost over 80 pounds.

But we all know it is much easier for men to loose weight than it is for women.

I am determined to get the weight off. Over the course of 2009 I lost more than 35 pounds which may not seem like much but I was nursing my daughter for most of 2009.

It is my new years reselution to loose all extra weight so I can continue growing my family.

I have always dreamed of having a very very large family and with this extra weight it is not possible.

Here goes.....

4/19/2010
I am still working on my goals of loosing all this extra weight I am carring around. It is getting so bad for me now. I wake up every morning with extreame pain in both ankles, sometimes in my knees and most times in my back. I have also been getting extreame migranes latley.
I am going to go back to my isagenix program. I know I have not stuck with the amount of weight I wanted to loose, but with still having snow on the ground I have not felt like doing much.
I do know I need to loose the extra baggage though cause I have a lot of things to do this summer. The summer is not very long up here, considering this is April and we still have this stupid snow. My projects for this summer include:
*Gardning (we have already planted carrots, beans, cilantro, parsley, tomatoes and I have a strawberry patch out front but the rest is indoors and need to be transpotted into larger seperate pots and put into the green house.)
*Build both green houses (one is for the outdoor equipment andall the vehicle tires - the other is for plants and vegtables)
*Build a 200 ft chain link fence for the daycare playground
*Remodel the 2 car garage so the daycare can use some of that space.
*Finish the playground surfacing
*Work on driveway rocks and front yard tree fence
*Get husband to finish fixing his car and get it out of the garage.

Currently today I weight 267 and when I saw the dr on Saturday I got all kinds of blood work done and will get the results back hopefully by the end of the week. Dr office said I am only 5 ft 6 now. I though all this time I was 5 ft 7, oh well.

So now starting weight will be set at 267 being I will be starting Isagenix this week. I will post again soon to show how much I have lost on isagenix and I am a member of Alaska Club.

My 1st goal weight is 200 pounds.

But my Major major goal weight is 145. Don't know how long it will take but I am determined.

Feel free to email me encouragement and I will return the favor. angel4nature@yahoo.com with subject weight loss

Thank you

17 days and counting

Friday, December 10, 2010

17 days till my husband and I leave Alaska on vacation to Miami. It is a surprise vacation for him but since he does not know about spark people I can post it on here to get some of the excitement out.

I restarted my isagenix in prepereation for this trip. I just did a cleanse day on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Wednesday morning I weighted in at 269. But my summer clothes were bought for under 250 because I actually got below 240 this summer.

So Wednesday I was 269, today is Friday morning and I am 259. That is a ten pound loss in 2 days. I love isagenix cleansing and wish I could do more than just the two day cleansing.

I have two bottles of cleanse left and plan on taking this weekend as shake days and doing a Tuesday and Wednesday cleanse next week if anyone wants to join me.

Then my next cleanse days will be the 23rd and 24th of December and since my family does not celebrate Christmas as we are Bahai's and celebrate AyyamiHa in February instead I won't have any big temtations.

I am so excited to be going on this trip though that I just want to explode in excitement. My husband work christmas party is also tonight and the last time that we went the food was pretty healthy choices and when I follow the line after my husband I do really good (because he is diabetic).
Tonight I am thinking of trying on one of my old dresses to see if they fit yet and surprising him tonight by showing up in a fancy dress.

We shall see.....

I just found your blog and will follow it to see how you are doing.

I have a friend who has been on Isagenix for years and she says she wishes she could cleanse for more than two days in a row.

We don't celebrate Christmas, either so we don't have to deal with all them temptations either.

What in the world am I supposed to do????

Monday, November 01, 2010

Everyone says something different about every different diet. I want to eat right. I want to feel better about what I am putting into my body. I want to loosed the weight the right way.

I have been in so much pain from the extra weight on my joints and just don't know what is ok to put in my mouth anymore.

It makes me not want to eat anything at all anymore but can't realistically do that either.

I see, from your SparkPage (and your post on my blog), that you're using Isagenix. (Me too. But, just the IsaLean shakes. I have multiple sclerosis, and the Cleanse products have too many anti-oxidants for me, as my MS already "confuses" my immune system.)

I also see that you've lost almos 30 lbs. WTG!

If you wanna talk about Isagenix, getting past plateaus, whatever, just send me a message.
