the lady called me and told me that she could not come down yesterday so we are planning to meet her once he is ready to go she is afraid that if she see him she will want to take him home.. i did talk to her about the money thing and she will get me statements from her vet and she just was broke from Christmas and did not think that anyone would think that she would not take good care of her pet..
I will know once i meet her if this is going to work out..

She sounds like a nice lady that just need to have a tzu in her life.. She know about vet visits and all the care that goes into it.. She has a cat and asked about
that.. She seemed like a nice lady..

It sounds like things are falling into place. I know how she feels money is so tight and I take the best care of Winston but sometimes a vet visit isn't in the cards. I am just glad I have worked in a vets office and have had dogs my whole life. So my vet trust me to know when I can handle it and when I can't.

Everyone needs a dog in their life even if they don't know it :)

more about my puppies

Saturday, January 09, 2010

got an e-mail form a lady that lost her Shih-tzu that she had for almost 15 yeas and is broke from Christmas She was wanting to trade her X-box 360 and games for one of my babies i talked with her on the phone and she is going to look at my babies and i will look at her x-box and decide .. She is a single mom with 3 kids and misses her dog a lot.. I feel so bad for her .. I know what it is like to lose a pet as this happened to us a few months ago.. I am a person that just has to help out.. I just need to know that my babies will be well take care of.. that there going to a good home and be a loved pet to them..

I have been thing about this a lot.. My kids are like mom do it make this lady happy we want the x-box.. It is not anything to do with money as the lady said that she could make payments on the puppy but it would take her some time to do this.. I am not letting anyone take a puppy that is not payed for b4 it goes it do not work out well .. I will see later on today..
I hope that it all work out okay for the both of us.. I have a few more week with my babies b4 they will go anywhere..
hugs to you all

That is a good point thar Cutidoots made Amy! Make sur eyou ask her how she plans to take care of the puppy. She obviously took care of another Tzu, so somehow she must have managed, but does not hurt to check it out!

I would be thinking about it a lot also. I feel bad she lost her dog, but if she can't afford to pay for a dog how is she going to cover the vet bills? I think she needs to think more about this before she jumps into getting another dog. Puppies can be expensive the first year, as I'm sure you know!

Great job - you lost 1 lb. and you are doing the challenge. I didn't sign up for it, only because I am physically challenged on some things and figured I wouldn't be able to do it.

Keep up the great work and you will see the results.

letting my son drive

Wednesday, January 06, 2010

I know that it is such a big deal to some one that is new to driving it is the right of passage.. My son turned 15 1/2 over the holiday and got his permit .. (HE will be 16 in July) so this is a good time for him to learn .. He has been going out with his dad and driving on logging roads for some time now..
I was getting coffee and he is like mom let me warm up the drango and i want to drive to school.. This is okay with me it was just the 2 of us .. He does get nerve's around other drivers but that is okay he is doing a good job..

In TN they can get their permit when they turn 15 and then drive for a year before they get their license. I must admit the first few times I was riding with my daughter I was not a very good passenger. She's a good driver, I'm just one of those that likes to be in control. emoticon Our challenge this year has been driving in snow/ice. Last winter we didn't really have any of it. I grew up in RI so I'm used to driving in that. She, on the other hand, is not real thrilled. Hang in there ... the more he drives the better he'll be. You will survive this! The next hurdle will be when he gets his license and wants to take the car. emoticon
